The metal box has been laser engraved on the front and it contains the album on CD and the booklet.

    The extras:
A metal USB stick (type A) with our laser engraved logo. It can be directly plugged into your car stereo, TV or other devices.

    Content:

    - The full "Transience" album is included as 320kb/s MP3 and WAV files.

    - Addionally we have been granted permission to include the full 2 hour long Mirror of Deception retrospective which was originally aired on March 3rd 2026 on the phenomenal, bi-weekly "Seeds of Doom" radio show from Salzburg, Austria! Apart from a wild ride throughout our discography it features also a song each by our local doom brothers Naevus, Dawn of Winter, Doomshine and Mustum. The entire presentation is in English.

We send our eternal gratitude to the host Bernhard "Doomchild" Tischler for this incredible honor and his years of support and airplay. And to our mates from the above mentioned bands for their kind agreement to keep their songs included and to leave the show intact.

There are some other small goodies included:
    - a guitar pick with our symbol
    - a button pin
    - a photo signed by the band

These boxes will be numbered and personalized. Jochen will record and add a short personal audio message to each supporter on the USB stick. Please allow this a few extra days to happen.

Needless to say, there will only 1 box available per person due to the strict limitation!

This is not for everyone and has its' price. But we hope you'll appreciate the effort that went into this and that we are trying to offer something very special here. And as we are a fully independent band you will help us to make future recordings and merch items happen.

1.
DEATH, DELIVER US Please god. calm the billows Threading through weeks of turbulent waters With a hold full of soil and sand A creature Rests among us As the waves keep beating Fiercely against the hull Any port in a storm No sign of god he deserted us. Searched from stem to stern And one more gone And in their wake A misty dance unfolds As the veils of fog Trace the ill fated journey Whispers To the heavens There’s times they worked - This time they won’t We’re all joining in silent departure Honoring his post Lashing himself to the wheel With the help of his teeth Looking for solace Yet solace can’t be found At mercy of the waves Commandeering the helm A siren's lullaby Fearing for his soul. Where no soul can be found Come good wind or foul I shall save my soul And my honour as a captain I’m growing weaker the night is coming on She must fetch up somewhere, if only it was in hell Screams from the land to the ocean - looking As idle as a painted ship upon a painted ocean Still it echoes from their wet graves Oh death Yes death Deliver us
2.
Currents 05:47
CURRENTS Night wanes Morrow ignites A crystal whisper Emerges from stony dephts Where silence reigns This cavernous mountain Life, chasing its destiny, descending A thread of silver dreaming of oceans yet unseen A quenching thirst A furious torrent Carving canyons Where mountains once stood Flowing hunger Ever wide Its’ will aglow Cascading and winding on its’ decline Rushing and roaring, laying waste, tumbling into bottomless depths Tempered by distance The torrent calms Bearing witness Two shadows cast Carrying woes Voices raised high A strike and silence filled the sky The paths diverge atop the water A breathless journey carries on Currents - Yet lifebloods’ pulse never seizes Born of whispers mountains alone could breathe Tracing a path etched by the very flow of time Yield to the ocean's vast embrace merge into one merge into one Flowing far to meet the sun
3.
Haven 03:26
HAVEN Spectral voices, ethereal whispers, A celestial beacon Escaping the city for a haven To be unburdened Without words to divide Shared wisdom blooms Worn souls seeking refuge In absence of words This valley harbors silence in perpetual twilight A soft shimmering quietude Strange shadows dance beneath the surface Of deep waters covering the land A primal urge draws me deeper Never contemplating a return A touch on the arm speaks volumes Drawn to this silent symphony Silence transcends words
4.
Slow Winds 05:54
SLOW WINDS Waning light Shadows grow longer Colours melt into grey Shapes dissolve Into a haze Barely visible inbetween Debris and boulders A narrow path Winds its way uphill Crippled storm-whipped trees Become sparse and disappear Looking back No more signs of life In the valley below As if there never was Almost utter silence Only distant howling Slow winds Wisps of clouds Drift across The pale disc of the moon Now and then The veils part For an elusive glimpse At faint stars Transcending The nocturnal firmament Like gleaming pulses Witnessing and observing As for eons they have When will they find out Where will they search Where will I be Will the winds whisper what happened?
5.
Consumed 07:18
CONSUMED Walking through blood Bewildered, yet unfazed Towards a shattered mirror Laughing all the while Like kindling to the blaze Consumed by an insatiable flame Nothing left behind Evading the silence Casting shadows far and wide As thoughts unwind Certain fragments prevail Beneath the weight of Wasted hours Desire still lies Some traces will remain Adding to the resonance of despair Saturnine verses The archetype for my disease A tragedy with the intent Of maiming the unmendable With each wary stride Stumbling down the line And looking back At footprints etched by time Concealed beneath aversion Seeking solace in the echoes A silhouette against the dying light Behind a veil of Wistful yearning A dying ember’s plea - ike ashes to the fire I’m embrace by withered arms - reaching for a spark Tracing ashen remains - as thoughts unwind Certain fragments prevail
6.
The Sands 06:35
7.
Meander 07:13
MEANDER A gently rippling narrow stream Meandering through a secluded vale At a distance its wide banks are framed by wildwood I n curves and bends on its way Scouring the terrain into submission With the steady force to continue Not come to a halt - Lest to vanish into the ground Drought and floods, nature will change and take its course Restless and fleeting Curves shift, breakthroughs occur where the path refuses to comply A shard of a skull emerges From the silt near the shore. Embedded deep into the bone An arrowhead, green oxidised Other bones repose in reach Of human origin and stock Scattered on the bank and in the riverbed Broken, shattered, cut and bruised, Taken for what they have carried Left the dead and wounded behind. Time graciously buried them. Left to oblivion The peaceful stream continued to meander to seek new paths. To bury new secrets Or reveal some of old

about

Our sixth album, "Transience".

What reviewers had to say:

Deaf Forever (Germany):
„Highlights among highlights are the anthemic 'Consumed' and the atmospherically dense closing number 'Meander'.“
Rating: 9/10

Doomed For Metal Reviews (USA):
"This is a serious, engaging work of art that every doom fan needs to check out."
Rating: Excellent

FFM-Rock (Germany):
„Captivating, top-tier epic doom with plenty of charm, high recognisability and powerful dynamics – only the very best in their field can brew such a consistently potent, exhilarating elixir with every note.“
Rating: 9/10

Heavy Metal Darkness (Greece):
"If you are into slow, sad, and heavy music, this album belongs in your collection. It is a strong return from a band that understands the essence of doom."
Rating: 8.3/10

Historias de Rock (Spain):
„A collection of tracks whose languid tempo lends the album an overall dreamlike quality that draws the listener into a hypnotic darkness, creating the sensation of slowly drifting towards a black hole, only to be trapped there for eternity.“

Loud and Proud (Italy):
"‘Transience’ is a new, compelling journey into human emotion, as unsettling as it is satisfying to listen to. Introspective, moving, rich in pathos, this is the musical fresco painted by Mirror Of Deception."
Rating: 84/100

Metal Hammer (Greece):
"The essence of doom lies in such songs and meanings."

Métal Intégral (France):
"It shows that staying true to one’s roots and tradition can be a good thing, especially when it’s done by a talented band like Mirror of Deception."
Rating: 17/20

Metal Underground (Austria):
"The band proves once again that it is one of the stalwarts of the German doom scene. Anyone who appreciates slow, heavy guitars and a sombre atmosphere will find an album here that doesn’t make an immediate impact, but unfolds its power bit by bit."
Rating: 4.5/5

Mystification Zine (USA):
"In terms of carrying on long-held values, a surety of self, in earnest there are few as consistent. A high recommendation."

Neckbreaker (Germany):
„Dark, gripping and uncompromising. True masters are at work here. Every note simply sucks you in, holds you captive, only to spit you out again at some point. I’m completely blown away and utterly thrilled. THE doom album of 2026!“
Rating: 10/10

Powermetal (Germany):
"A strong contender for the best doom album of the year!"
Rating: 9/10

Rock Hard (Germany):
"While the album deals with the topic of transience these songs, brimming with sombre beauty and wistful melodies, won’t fade away so easily."
Rating: 8.5/10

Rock Times (Germany):
"What they have delivered here is simply their Magnum Opus.“

Saitenkult (Germany):
„The result is an album that is firmly rooted in classic doom yet adds enough of its own distinctive touches to break free from mere tradition.“
Rating: 8.5/10

Soundmagnet (Germany):
„This album is a real treat for the ears, and given its quality and breadth, it’s not just for doom metal fans.“
Rating; 9/10

Vampster (Germany):
