Oh yeah, definitely! While I haven't played one in a while, I was pretty big into SCI;ADV VNs. As for non-anime animated movies, would Coyote VS. Acme count? At the time of writing, I'm seeing it theaters later today. Aside from that, I think I mainly watch live action stuff.

I see, I guess it makes sense that it isn't as popular as it once was. The game was released all the way back in 2001, and the remake isn't too good art-wise and didn't hit as well as the original.

Hmmm honestly that would be something that I have to look into. Off the top of my head though I do recall that I own a shell from a musket that was supposedly from the 1700s I believe. My great-grandfather owned it and somehow it came into my dad's possession, which now I have. I also acquired some arrowheads in the past that I still own, though I'm not sure what era they're from. That's actually really awesome, I too love hearing about historical fines like that. Are the pages of those 1800s magazines extremely brittle by now?

Possibly so. From my point of view on the internet, it seems like people are just losing interest in traditional social media websites. My Facebook for instance I would estimate only has like half the people on my friends list who even bother visiting the website anymore. Not sure if they moved to other websites, are under different usernames or maybe just don't care to be on the internet in that way anymore and have moved on.

I wonder why discord became so popular. I guess it's because it's basically just a glorified forum for people can make chats about anything. I honestly never understood it's popularity. 🤷‍♂️

I see. So it sounds like your situation with this website was kind of similar to mine. I think it was around 2017 that I started to lose interest in MAL, and would only log in like once a year or so after that. Then once 2019 hit I stopped logging in all together. I don't know, then around 2024 I started feeling nostalgic for this place, that and the fact that I was starting to watch anime a little bit more at that point. So I decided to check out the site and see what was new. I really do like the new profile badges they implemented. I was really sad to see that so many people that I used to talk to on this website seem to have completely abandoned the website. Also for some reason there was a lot of people posting rip on people's profiles who hadn't logged in in a long time. XD
