To be honest I'm not even sure if I ever watched any live-action manga adaptation, I know a lot of live action adaptations used to be bad back then, that's probably why I never tried.

I think I was a bit confused because it's totally different in France, basically the prefectures are much smaller and we have 100+ of them (counting overseas departments) and you have several of these departments inside big regions, like for example my region Normandy has 5 smaller regions inside.
Hahaha well if you have a km travelled competition with your friend, this is going to be insane xD but joke aside, it should be awesome to do it if you can travel to places you'd have never visited otherwise and discover some underrated places :)

Do you know why they allow Apple but ban Google? Well here even when it's government-owned they find a way to make things extremely expensive for absolutely no reason lol.

Sadly I feel like Nakano broadway could end up going the same way too since it's getting more and more mainstream over the years.

I love kaitenzushi but didn't try it in Japan, now I need to do that since I believe that the dishes are also very different lol, I wanna try the onion ones to see if I could like them or not xD

Sadly the global warming issue is getting more and more extreme, and we're reaching point of no return :( what happened in Nepal is just so sad, especially since Nepal isn't the most polluting country ever but they're already suffering because of the state of the planet...
At least I'm glad for Mbappé because he managed to restore one's reputation since he became kinda hated at some point, especially within Real Madrid with the "Afuera" trend, now he's already doing very well at the start of La Liga so maybe he could end up winning the ballon d'or finally even though he lost at the WC.

I followed Pokémon 2019 weekly when it aired, but yeah I can catching up with it must be long now lol, Pokémon 2019 was really good in my opinion though. Pokémon Horizon is also pretty good now and they managed to make it as interesting as before even with new protagonists, I'm like 20 episodes behind though. I heard about Kore Kaite Shine, it looks cute, I didn't know if I was going to watch it or not but I should probably do it once it's over. The synopsis reminds me of Comics Girl.

I was afraid that Kouri no Jouheki was too dramatic for me, that's why I didn't watch it, but if it's well written and not "over the top" in its drama, I might like it!
Sometimes I just directly add them to my watching list so I'm "forced to actually start them xD Yeah I'm liking Yani Neko more and more, it's clearly underrated, and of course it shows things you'd never see in anime before, especially the drugs lol.

Now I'm going to visit more European countries, I actually plan to visit them all at some point if possible, this month I'll be visiting Czechia, Austria, Hungary and Slovakia, never been to these countries before.

HAHA I know, right? 😭 It still blows my mind that I've basically grown up alongside **One Piece**. I went from watching it on Saturday mornings as a kid to now getting excited every time a new episode drops. 😂

And honestly, I think the new release schedule is growing on me too. Getting **26 episodes in a row** is a lot more satisfying than splitting everything up with a break in the middle. It keeps the momentum going.

Also... the PV has me so hyped. 😭 **Elbaf** is one of the arcs I've been looking forward to the most, so finally seeing characters like **Shamrock** and **Loki** animated is surreal.

Hopefully the adaptation keeps the quality up because if they can do that, I think this arc is going to be something really special. 😄

Ah yes that's probably a good option for Kingdom lol, I never watched it so I can't tell but I know if I had to watch it, I would probably just watch the regular anime but also read the manga at the same time.

Yeah I didn't realise that I visited this many prefectures, but when you stay in Osaka you can check so many of them easily with the big cities nearby, I didn't even know that Nara or Kobe were in a different prefecture, I just thought that there was a big one with all of these important cities, I was a Japanese geography noob I guess lmao. Anyway your plan seems nice, even though it's going to be pretty rushed I assume if you can do all of that in 3 days!
Thanks, this is what I'll try visiting if I ever go to China. Is public transportation easy to use and not expensive there?

I can't imagine how many people went to Akihabara only because of what they see in anime haha, though now the situation has been reversed and Akihabara kinda died because of that. Onions on sushi sound very special I didn't see that there but I probably wouldn't like it tbh xD

Yeah, I have no idea why this Morocco - Spain situation happened, but this is crazy.
It ended with the expected countries, even though we got destroyed by Spain for some reason, they weren't even much better than us, we just didn't play just like what Morocco did against us. The England - France match was crazy though lmao.

Sometimes you just have to lock in, but it's hard to watch long shows nowadays, I mean I'm still trying to watch Conan but I know I'll never be able to catch up with it, so it's a bit depressing lol. For some reason, I'm starting to get a bit bored with SOL shows nowadays compared to before :(

Yes, I've read Seihantai before so it's nothing new to me but I'm glad the author is getting both of his works fully adapted at the same time, I didn't watch the other one though (Koori no Jouheki).
Yeah that's why I'm waiting for some of these shows to be over to actually watch them, I started Yani Neko though because I've seen too many clips of this one, it's disgusting but kinda funny at the same time.
spiritdudegamer Aug 1, 1:35 PM
Hmm , quite fun
spiritdudegamer Jul 31, 12:12 PM
Nope , i meant the comedy one.
spiritdudegamer Jul 11, 10:52 AM
How was new Granblue ep? i really liked it and looks like this season gonna be fun .
Ashhk Jun 28, 1:48 AM
Yup... this is why I try to watch different kinds of media to at least diversify everything, I'm also watching a lot of movies.

What are the best places to visit in Mainland China, according to you? Sounds awesome for Japan then, I hope that you'll like Hokkaido, be sure to go buy groceries at Seicomart xD I count how many prefectures I visited in Japan, I visited 10 of them overall which is already a lot to me, I went to: Hokkaido, Tokyo, Aichi, Gifu, Shiga, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo, Nara and Okinawa.

I can already feel like Japanese people love to travel within the country with how many Japan travel anime we got, especially recently xD I understand, next time I'll try sushi this way, I love spicy food but I just don't like the wasabi's taste at all. I also noticed that they love to put a LOT of onions, at least when I ate a Sukiya or Yoshinoya, the dishes were absolutely filled with so many onions lol.

Sadly the relationship between France and Algeria is very tense, with the two countries frequently appearing to be on the verge of a diplomatic crisis. Haha yes for Japan - Tunisia, too bad Tunisia is one of the worst team from this WC, they even fired the head coach to replace him with a famous manager from France, but it wasn't enough.

Well Gintama is less episodic since it has a few very serious arcs.

I just wish we got a romantic conclusion in OtaGyaru but the ending was still cute. I feel like this summer anime season is gonna be less interesting than spring, I want to watch "Super no Ura de Yani Suu Futari" but apparently 6 episodes are already out. Otherwise except for the sequels, I'm not sure... "Kimi ga Shinu made Koi wo Shitai" looks cool for a girls love show so I'll be sure to watch this one, and you?
Alexanderevealed May 30, 1:56 PM
Absolutely! Love your passion for it, super refreshing. I remember when I first started watching it on saturday mornings as a kid, now I am 26 watching it when it comes out which is nuts!!!

Sad the volume will decrease to a more seasonal approach, but I will take all of the OP content I can. I was literally talking about Marineford and Wano with my neighbor yesterday because he is finally catching up!
Alexanderevealed May 29, 9:36 AM
hey i love that! Been following OP for a while, but these recent episodes have got me hype!
Alexanderevealed May 29, 6:53 AM
Thanks for accepting my fr! Nice to meet you!
Ashhk May 28, 2:33 PM
Perfect! It's hard to keep up with every anime but don't burn yourself out at the same time...

I hope I will be able to come back to China at some point, because now my sole memory of it is a full marathon xD Well Sapporo is so different than the rest of Japan that it's hard to rank it, I would say it's even more different than how it was in Naha, though Sapporo is for sure the best city during summer lol. I hope I'll be able to comeback next year but I'm not sure at all, anyway I hope you'll have fun in Osaka, I just love how big and modern the city is but at the same time it can be very traditional looking + it's so convenient how close it is to Kyoto, Kobe or Nara.

Yeah I guess there's a big mix of domestic tourism and international tourism, we need to remember that Japan has 120+M inhabitants and the country isn't that big.

There's also Delhi that has the same amount of metropolitan area as Tokyo I think, but I believe Delhi is very similar to Dhaka.

Well I now what to do when I'll hopefully come back :) I would also like to eat more "premium" sushi but the issue is that I don't like wasabi and they usually put the wasabi inside the sushis, I feel like it absorbs all the taste, at least in my case.

I think I would need to visit Tunisia at some point to see how it is there but I believe it might be the same as Morocco, as for Algeria I would need a VISA to get there so it's probably impossible to visit it.

Ohhhh yes might be, I tend to forget this kind of event. I think for Keroro Gunsou I should do just what I'm doing for The Office right now, just watch one or two eps per week/month when I feel like it, just to chill and laugh without trying to finish the series.

Tbh I understand I also have moments where I'm just too lazy to watch anything serious and end up watching "useless" shows while I have so many important sequels to watch soon lol. But well for this season I'm still trying to watch a lot and I added every shows I want to watch, it ended up with 28 of them lol, so 300+ eps, it's gonna be impossible to finish everything I feel like, but so far I'm liking everything, I started a lot of new romcoms (Class de 2-banme, Ganbare! Nakamura-kun, Kanan-sama, Otaku ni Yasashii Gal wa Inai and Ponkotsu Fuuki) I really like all of them, my fav is probably Class de 2-banme though. The best new show right now is definitely Tongari Boushi no Atelier, I just read the manga before watching the anime and it's just soooooooooo good, I highly recommend this one.
Ashhk May 20, 1:41 AM
Hey!! Don't worry I understand haha you can always reply whenever you want, well nice to see you back I guess xD

I ended up going to Japan in April! And I have to agree with you I expected more tourists to be here to be honest even though they were probably more than when I was went in summer (simply because it's too hot I guess lol). Actually the only VERY tourist crowded city was Kyoto as usual, no surprise here, but Osaka was fine, still a lot of tourist in the most famous spot (Dotonbori etc) but overall it was fine, Tokyo as well.
I booked the hotles not too long before going and I was surprised that it wasn't that expensive. The issues I had were with the flights though, my flight to come back home was HELL, probably because of all the current world issues, they had to change the model of the plane a few hours before leaving so the seat I booked was canceled (I guess it's because they had to take a smaller plane) and I had to take a different path. It was originally supposed to be a direct flght, but because of that I had to go to Shanghai 1st and I only had 30 minutes to check in, go through customs, collect my luggage, drop it off again, and get to the gate lol... even the airline staff in Japan said that it was nearly impossible to manage to do all of that in 30 min because by a miracle I managed to catch the next flight, the Chinese staff understood my situation and made me pass through the securities as fast as possible + I ran as fast as ever hahahaha, at least this will be a funny memory but I never stressed that much in my life before xD

Well either way my Japan trip was as good as the 1st one, I already want to come back lol, I still love Osaka the most I think it will remain my favorite Japanese city ever.

Yeah when I talked about Paris I meant that Paris itself is very dense but the whole "Greater Paris area" is a massive metropolitan area kind of like it is for Tokyo, it's just that it has fewer people per city. I was honestly shocked to discover so many cities attached to Tokyo that I had never heard of before even though they each had 100k-200k or more of people living there xD

I definitely need to taste the Hamamatsu eel now, I couldn't really taste "premium" eel but I somehow already got addicted to eel when I was in Japan last month, I mean even the eel you can order at Yoshinoya for example, wow it's soo good hahaha xD

Kinda ridiculous how they gave the win to Morocco in the end, I mean even a lot of Moroccan players agree, if you want the win you have to earn it, there's no pride in winning just because of some controversy from the opponents even if they actually won the real match when it was played... well now they don't even speak about it anyway.

Yeah for Reborn we'll wait I guess, there are so many remakes/unexpected sequels etc nowadays. You can walk in blind for Keroro Gunsou don't worry it's just some fun comedy, but well if it's like how the early anime episodes were, it's gonna be very fun! Anyway did you start the ongoing season? There are so many stuff to watch it's overwhelming

Damn been ages, I doubt you remember me tho.
Randomly took a peak at your profile. Overall great taste, very similar to mine except i dont get why you like white album 2 so much.

Even in your favorite list it is no nowhere near to any of the other 20 anime you have listed all of which i absolutely love btw.

Well, I just got this experience a few days ago when I had to book airbnb for my Japan trip in April, I didn't expect April to be THAT expensive compared to July/August, but well it makes sense since it's the perfect weather + cherry blossom. I just had to choose the cheapest ones which are not the best as I wanted to stay in Akihabara like I did last time but well it is what it is, the cheapest option is a capsule hotel though but I really don't want to stay in those xD

This is funny because I just searched the results for France to compare with Japan and the USA and it's actually so empty here, I didn't realize it. My region has 116 people per km², I searched for French Guyana and it has 3.5 people per km² lmao. Even Paris' region (Île de France) only has 1.038 people per km², I thought it would be much more.

Yup, since I'll be there starting April 1st it should be fine to see the cherry blossom except if it's during the 2nd half of April, we'll see. I didn't know this infamous spot with Lake Biwa first canal but yeah I can imagine that when it's not the cherry blossom time it's just your basic canal xD It reminds me when I went to see the Otaru canal in Hokkaido, there were a LOT of tourists and they were amazed by it apparently, though for me it just looked exactly like your average canal you randomly see in Europe, but well that's also what's so special about it I guess.

Oh okay, well at least it still sounds like it was a cool day. Did the eel and gyoza taste good? I think I never tasted eel before coming to Japan and I was surprised by how sweet it actually is, I had eel sushi and they were awesome xD

Sadly they didn't show a good image of African during the AFCON, this is kind of a pity because the players know that they have the opportunity to show how good their competition, their culture and all can be to the whole world but instead they decided to act like this... Some players like Sadio Mané saved the day though, and I think Sénégal winning the AFCON is the good ending after all this mess. Brahim Diaz trying a panenka during such high stakes is one of the craziest move I've seen during a football match, wtf.

I'll be hyped for the remake, no matter what haha. Not sure for Hitman, it's weird, there was a registered website for a new anime, then they announced that a new project was coming for the 20th year anniversary https://x.com/animetv_jp/status/2002032104633151528 so it's probably happening in October, either the new anime (sequel or reboot) is starting or they just do the announcement at this time, we'll see.
