But I absolutely agree my texts or letter could be a chapter, two or even three. Without a doubt. I don't know if it's a good thing. But when I'm actually writing a story, words don't come out of my mind so easily comparing to as it happens while replying to someone, especially some people like you who made it even easier and pleasant.
It's fine, I'm that outdated type of person who'd wait for someone even years as if you went for a war or something, I'm that type who will always be at home waiting and never forgetting especially the feelings. So be careful over there and take as much time as you need, as you see, I take mine too. And I know time is very valuable but still. Oh, and I obviously recognise your owls too, they're always welcomed here, for a little rest and snacks. They're in good hands here.
As you wish, may my owl show you my true feelings, hopefully you can understand owl language just a bit. Ah and if it bites you, it's only in a positive way... Honestly I can't really think of two months or few months as a long time, even when you wait for something or someone, unless you suffer a lot, it'd be a long time when, but I knew you'll reply anyway, so it was fine. And I know it may sound weird for someone who can write endlessly about my feelings, but some feelings even I can't express through text, or maybe I can, but not obviously hehe. I wouldn't freely assume who missed more, sincerely.
The fact you're fine indeed can be me feel a bit more fine, sometimes all you need is to know someone dear is fine and everything else, especially bad things doesn't matter that much. I also sometimes prefer to worry or care more about other people just not to sink into my depressive world and deeper darkness. Though it's hard sometimes. But I feel like every word of yours get me out of it a little bit. But I wish, I was really able to be fine, to say is without pretending. But it seems the world is really testing me and my possibilities.
I can feel your honesty, so being honest myself, I really enjoy these letters of ours too, very much. Not joking, sometimes the thought I want to reply to someone keeps me here, and nothing else does. So, keep looking for me, because if I'm able, I'll reply anyway. But I need to enjoy your letter for some time too, just assume I'm memorising it.
Once again, I'm glad for you you realised it and I hope for all people to realise it.. I don't know about others, but I think it's better to not have friends than have forced or fake friends especially while faking your own personality during it. But craving for friends and enjoy making them isn't bad, so feel free to do it, no need to explain yourself haha. I wish everyone was that nice, friendly and have good intentions so you could befriend everyone you meet. Because sometimes trying to befriend everyone can have negative consequences. May you not face them. At this moment, I consider myself as someone who can rather have negative influence on people, but it's too late as we have developed some relation. And I don't know if it helps but I really don't have bad intentions. Anyway, making many friends doesn't have to be a waste of time, if it's really about real friends, which is hard to believe for me that you can have real friends no matter how friendly and sincere you are, it's just that there are way too many bad people on earth. But imagining it, having actual real friends must be very nice, to be able to reach someone at any moment, having someone by your side (like for real) and all. I'd even maybe want it, if I didn't know it usually doesn't work.
I don't understand why such mindset exists at all, honestly but I know it does. I'm not like that myself, surprise, but I know people like that, it isn't even that rare honestly. But it's very harmful for such person. And supposedly it's hard to learn to take care of your needs, actually, to treat yourself as a priority and most important person, because it's the case. No one will really take care of you if you don't. Unless you meet another person exactly like you, which maybe is possible. I'm way different from such mindset so it's probably also hard to imagine for me, but I know it's a problem. Generally it's a good thing to be empathetic and helpful person, but there should be limits, and that's it. I know, easy to say.
Yes, I know there are people worth low self-esteem and they can end up being great at something or make amazing things but I would never think it can describe me. Honestly, I'm a perfect example of a loser person or wasted potential if I even have it. And it's not even pessimistic talk, rather realistic. But it does flatter me you think I can do something more, it matters to me. Even though I don't think so myself, it's good to hear it. About writing, this year, I haven't been writing much, just rereading my old works and even if I feel inspired, I don't feel like writing. Probably this writing thing was just a phase for me, quite long one, but I never was that good at it and never wanted to do it professionally or something. Besides, there are way too many authors nowadays, so. I don't need to be another one, even if not public one.
Yes, I absolutely get what you mean, of course 'beauty' is highly subjective and theoretical thing. That's why there are many styles when it comes to writing, painting, sculpting, etc. And that's why art generally is for everyone because there are so many different styles, you'll surely find something you consider as beautiful, inspiring or to your taste. I guess my poems can be described as intense, highly emotional, gothic, full of metaphors, circulating about death or love, suffocating, visual and highly depressing. I don't know if there are many people who can enjoy such things. I don't know if I do myself, that's just what and how I write about mostly.
Ah and yes, everyone can read this conversation and I'm getting a little bit intimate each time, but do you think anyone would read such a wall of text? I don't think so. Only someone as committed as you.
Oh, when there are other people that compare you with someone, it's much worse than when you compare yourself with others, because like, no one gives them right and permission to do such a thing. If they want, that can only compare themselves with others, I'll never understand and accept that, especially when it comes to parents comparing their kids (with their siblings or other kids). I didn't experience that much, but I know so many people did and it's honestly so frustrating, I really despise such parents. I'm like, look at yourself, you could be a much better parent than that and instead you're giving your kids serious problems and potential trauma... It's sad how many people shouldn't actually be parents and it's really the case, it's way too easy to become parents in this world, it's annoying. I don't know about you, but I don't know any healthy family or anyone who had fully happy childhood... Okay, maybe one family, but it's international so it explain things a bit and it feels sooo weird and unnatural for me seeing almost healthy family, like somethings not right and it annoys me too but in another way, I think many people would be jealous of it. But okay, I'm getting out of the topic. Comparing = bad.
Oh crap, I need to stop myself and not make you repeat such things even more but I guess I failed already. Let's just say it's my default thinking and won't change or at least, not easily. Because when you have a specific mindset for your whole life, it can't change easily, you know about it too. But I can not bring it out here, surely. However as you say, you imagine me from what you know about me, meaning, from what I write and I'm afraid, the Internet version of me is way different from real version of me - which is much worse in general. And I once wondered which version of more like real me. Though I don't even try to pretend anything, because what I write comes very naturally out of me. As you notice, sincerely. So maybe it's not as bad as I think and more like you think, indeed.
But I just have my own opinion about myself and I know I can't look at myself objectively or from other perspective, but still. And you're right in many things, there are people who may pay attention to me and listen to me, care about me. Temporarily, usually, and only online, but I don't complain about it, it's more than I could wish for, especially for someone like me. In real, I'm a person who never gives anything from myself, I don't have anyone who I'd like to give anything, but I did it many times anyway and it never turned out positive, but online and generally, I think I give a lot from myself and sometimes it's comforting too. Especially when you don't expect anything from anyone. Anyway, I genuinely feel you're interested in what I say, and I appreciate it a lot, and vice versa.
Probably, if you don't recall me talking about museum, that would be first time. It's funny because I tell about that part of my life everyone I meet at some point and I don't remember who I told about it already... I don't know if everyone find it interesting but I literally love talking about it and can go on and on (uhh, like with everything else but this one is different). So, it was a history museum, but not a typical one you could think about. First of all, it was an outdoor museum, it is supposed to imitate old polish town from certain part of Poland and from certain time of the history, very specific. And it's made with around 10 various objects, the market square and the town hall (there are also two restaurants with hotel there but it doesn't belong to the museum, they're just there too). And every object imitate some workshop, like carpenter, hairdresser, shop, photographer, etc, from that era. Objects aren't original but items that are inside are. But everything is very atmospheric, wooden, and look original. So the job was about tour guiding in these objects, usually we have one object per day we took care of, and spent whole day there, it was pretty responsible job. Sometimes keeping object safe was harder than guiding... Oh and I absolutely hated the idea while starting working there, I was kind of forced to do so, but I fast changed completely, I discovered my non existent social and communicate skills and fell in love with the place, this kind of job and especially, all my coworkers were amazing, it was the best thing. Well job was exhausting actually but also very satisfying and sometimes pleasant. And sadly I couldn't stay there permanently. I literally was crying at the end of my internships there... But what's most interesting about it is that I'm that person, always been, who is always quiet, can't handle any social interactions and is terrified of people so imagine me being a public speaker... But I think I did very, very well, after few days or weeks of trembling speaking. So, I always think of this time of my life very nicely, it gave me a lot. Ah, I remebeber watching Night in the Museum as a kid, it was pretty good movie. And I was totally obsessed with dinosaurs back then, but like, really obsessed...
Only fluent in two? You meant, you're fluent in that many? Regular person is fluent in one language, so I think being fluent in two is a big thing. I'm fluent in Polish and only this. But I think being bilingual is really great like growing up with two different languages and knowing both of them as your own. So you have nothing to be ashamed of, quite the opposite. Besides, I literally know no one else who'd speak Javanese language, it's really impressive. Well, I know you were just born there and didn't choose to be fluent in this language but still, it's rather uncommon one... Myself, I find it nice that my language isn't that common or easy, because you literally speak Polish only in Poland... Having some very popular language as your native one wouldn't be that impressive, I guess. Besides, you still know English very well, as we communicated freely in this one, you also know some Japanese and still learn it, it's very very good. There are people who only know one language (usually English or rather American English hehe) and they don't even think of learning any foreign one. The Japanese club sounds so nice... Being in any foreign language club would be great for me too, I think but Japanese especially... No wonder you enjoy it... How do you learn there? Do you have Japanese language teacher? And if you could, which language would you like to learn besides there you already do or know? And I may leer a lot of languages or know them, but mostly, it's about basics, I can only communicate freely in Polish, English and German, I mean, not only, but you know. And I rather learn for the sake of learning or for my own satisfaction or fun, not to use them. Because I don't plan to use any of these I know less or go to place where they're spoken.
Noo, you're very perceptive, I'm surely much colder than Hermione, way more, I'm not empathetic or helpful like her. I guess I'm mostly similar to her when she's in her badass mode or when it comes to learning and craving knowledge. But I'm not honorable or brave person. And I'm definitely not pretending anything... The sorting hat would see through me if it was the case after all, rest assured. And I'm glad my personality is to your taste. For me, you don't seem to be that overly nice person I sometimes meet, so it's better for my personal taste too... But what I can actually pretend sometimes is not to like specific type of people to secretly find their traits attractive. Noo, man, being compared to Snape is the big compliment for me! Couldn't hear anything better... It's a big honour for me... So, I'm glad you thought about it and I understand your fear haha. But don't worry, I can't pretend I'm not like Snape. Besides, he's not really old, just the movies made him look old by some reason, maybe they thought it suits his personality more... But you can be grumpy and gloomy at a very young age like me.
Some sources say Ron is an ENFP but as I think about it, he doesn't really fully seem like en ENFP, I didn't really analyse it much before... Some other sources say ESFP for Ron, and I don't think it's accurate... Maybe ESFJ? One of these three is surely the right one. Too bad Rowling isn't into mbti and can't say characters types for sure. Either way, you're still similar to Ron, in the aspect I mentioned last time. But you're undoubtedly an ENFP. Sometimes you don't have to wonder about mbti type of some person and they are just fully one of them. Though if you were some similar type, it'd make sense too. By the way, I think if I wasn't INTJ, I would probably be ISTJ or ENTJ, If I was an extrovert.
I don't find Weasley twins annoying actually, comparing to other Weasleys... Fred and George are probably the only ones from the family I don't mind and like. I also find Charlie interesting and wish we knew more about him. So, I'd say, you're similar to Weasley twins in the way, what's best in them. I'm not sure if you'd go that far as them in some cases, but still, it's about other traits. You loving being compared to MCgonagall is the same thing as me feeling while being compared to Snape so we really do understand each other and what it means to us, except, being compared to Mcgonagall is actually positive thing and many people would love to be like her, while Snape is more questionable haha, but for me, he's the best. Worth mentioning, I love these few scenes in movies with both of them on the screen, it looks like they could have an interesting relations but also very, very competing.
Okay, if it's your childhood dream, maybe I could go for it... I actually like walking if I can do it, so, maybe it wouldn't be the worst... And I see it'd be very disappointing for you to travel alone... I'm not extroverted enough to understand this I'm afraid... And I don't know if I'd be able to walk and talk at the same time, it has always seemed hard for me. I never really travelled with other people so I can't say how it's, and if I ever travelled, I mostly cared about scenery and my own thoughts...
I'm glad you understand that haha. I sometimes wonder if I liked One Piece or what it's actually about but I guess I won't find out... Unless one day I'll do something crazy and start it, if I do, assume I went insane. Oh, I actually only watched like two longer series but I have further plans to watch another two more. So, I watched FMAB as I mentioned which I consider as long (anything above 40 episodes) but watched it pretty fast, and Patalliro which has 49 episodes, which was sooo good and I got a little bit obsessed with it. Oh and about Fullmetal Alchemist, I maybe watch this first series one day but don't very soon, though I guess it won't be better than Brotherhood. Which I enjoyed but also wouldn't call it as masterpiece. Well, I see why it's rated high but I guess I have different way of rating anime, it must be very special or relatable to me to get a 9 or 10. But I understand why people love it, for sure it has many interesting and likeable characters, though I didn't find anyone there who would become special to me. And it's fine since I already have such few characters. I already watched Evangelion and I absolutely love it. I think it deserve all the love and attention and it is actually that deep and I appreciate it a lot. I was sceptic about it before and almost missed it because of the mecha thing but glad I watched it and even read manga. I remember watching whole Evangelion series and all 5 movies in just 3 days in the last three days of 2025, I literally went crazy after that. And I still listen to the Evangelion soundtrack till now. But Evangelion didn't go into my favourite anime, though I think about it. I guess it just isn't that special or relatable to me.
As for Code Geass, I thought about watching it many times, what scares me for now is that it has many series, movies and things but maybe if I watch everything else I want to, I'll go for it. I guess I'll rather like it, sounds like my taste. By the way, Evangelion reminds me of Ender's Game books series very much, I thought about it all the time. So, there are no many longer series I want to watch actually, like, I don't think I'll ever watch Naruto, Gintama, Fairy Tail, Dragon Ball and series like that. But i have Yakitate Japan, Kemono no Souja Erin and Kyou Kara Maou in my plan list, though I'm not sure if I watch them. So, I'll rather stick with shorter series because there are still many of such I want to watch. And I guess Hunter×Hunter will remain the longest anime I ever watched. I also keep watching mostly mystery anime now and I already watched Gosick and Undead Girl Murder farce (I'm adding this part later), and I absolutely understand why you dropped Gosick because I wanted to do it after first episode as well, but I kept watching because sometimes I end up loving anime that didn't start well, but I unfortunately ended up disliking Gosick till the very end, it was such a wasted potential and boring title. As for the other, Undead girl murder farce or whatever it's called, it was very very good, and the ending begs for the continuation which I guess won't come soon or ever... But I liked the concept very much.
First of all, I'd say Harry Potter is book series, because it's the most original and accurate one, no doubts, and they can't ruin them, same for movies, even if they make new series, it won't change movies. I know and you probably too that movies aren't perfect, mostly because of the lack of plot and not amazing acting but I agree they will always be the best and I'll always imagine characters as actors from movies, nothing can change it. And I think for old fans, it'll all stay the same. I honestly wouldn't even know anything about new series if I didn't have Instagram and YouTube. I actually follow few great Harry Potter accounts and they unfortunately follow new series news.... There's actually this one Polish YouTube channel I love so much, there are frequent livestreams and videos only about Harry Potter, but sadly they'll make videos about new series too, and I decided, I won't watch it, because I don't even want to waste money on Hbo and everything is bad about this series, all actor choices and the way some things look like - Hogwart, robes, etc. I think I didn't have any opinion before but I actually got tired of it, they hype the series so much and I don't think it's worth it at all. Well, it'll be even funnier if I somehow decide to watch and will like it, but it's not very likeable to happen. It'd be better if they decided to make some new movie from HP world or complete Fantastic beasts movies series instead of making something else... But well, it's their choice. But I'm glad we somehow agree.
There are surprisingly many series or titles with clumsy and naive female character that meet a boy who's her opposite, like currently airing Liar Game. If you watch it, you know. I honestly was very interested in this title, but I read manga right before anime aired and honestly, didn't like the manga at all, yet still decided to watch anime because who knows, and yeah, as expected it's very bad too, but it's just my opinion. I honestly wonder if there's anyone on the world who'd like character like Nao.
Junko is really iconic, man, one of my favourite female character ever created, and she's not even that typical as it may seem. I think I like both cold/mysterious/nonchalant and crazy/funny/chaotic villains, it depends.
Well, I don't really know if that's the reason I don't like Kirigiri that much, actually, when I was going through DR1 I considered her as my favourite character, somehow, well, along with Toko which I liked from the very beginning till the very end, both of her sides. Oh, even while playing and watching Danganronpa I wished I could go through it again like for the first time... Because nothing compares to discovering the body for the first time and then discovering the culprit. And you're not the only one, I always was curious about punishments too! Unless it was about my favourite character... Or when they didn't deserve it. But I actually love the idea of punishments in Danganronpa.... Which is your favourite one though? Mine's surely not fourth one from second game hehe. But honestly, I think I actually loved all from first game and also in v3 they were the most cruel I think.
I'll watch Gosick pretty soon, I'll see how I like it, actually I plan to watch mostly mystery, horror or supernatural anime in nearest future so I'll complete all that I wanted to watch since long time. As for Rokka no Yuusha, wow, it's such an uncommon title, I wish there was second season of it, I hardly remember what was it about, just that I liked it and unfortubately I didn't t read the novel. I guess as for many other titles, I couldn't probably find it and reading online itself is very difficult anyway. I don't remember my first mystery anime, too many of them... But I know, lately I watched Shinreigari and it was a surprisingly great title I knew nothing about and I'm amazed by how unique it was, at least to me, the whole anime seemed like a fever dream, I felt the story very intensively, loved it.
You're right, I'm the total opposite of Kaori, when it comes to personality. You can say intj and enfp are quite opposites but the true opposite of my type is esfp which I dislike very much. Anyway, it's not like I dislike Kaori very much, don't get me wrong, if so, I don't really like the story itself and it's just not my thing, I guess. But I can see why many people love it. I actually like tragic and sad stuff, but in some other way. Well, I can imagine Your Lie in April has influenced you a lot since it was your first anime and it's very valid, but the fact this anime even made you play the piano is very impressive... Maybe if it was my first anime, I'd play the piano too haha. But why did you choose piano and not the violin? You are rather like Kaori, you're both enfp and I can feel the similarity. And I just checked it, apperently Arima is ISTJ, interesting. Well, I can't deny, if someone like Kaori appeared in my life, I'd probably be like Arima, a bit.
Wait, literally everyone you know likes Maomao or all anime watchers you know? Because that's a big difference... Some people that don't wstch anime still recognise some titles and characters and it's really impressive... But I don't know if Maomao is that popular... But she surely is unique, wish there was more characters like her because honestly I know many females in real life are like her... And there are no many other anime females like her honestly. Anyway, I also hope Maomao will inspire other authors so that they create characters similar to her, it'd be really great. And I honestly prefer realistic characters over unnaturally pretty ones. Besides, there are just way too much of such beautiful or cute (especially cute, I guess) characters that it isn't nice seeing such ones anymore. Though I sometimes like cute characters, but it doesn't happen often. I also wish there was more female characters that are not interested in romance. There are quite few male ones like that but hardly any female ones. But of course all intj characters both make and female are just focused on their own goal, which is destroying or ruling the world or just something personal, same for ENTJ. One of my fav intj female would be Re-l Mayer, Kurisu Makise, Yuriko (Gnosia), List (Fmab), worth mentioning also Kyoko Kiriguri, Shinobu, Sylvia Sherwood (Spy family), Akashi (Tatami Galaxy), Hitomi (NHK). I guess ENTJ female are even more rare, I'd mention Balalaika (Black Lagoon), Asuka and Olivier (Fmab). I also think Revy from Black Lagoon is worth mentioning as independent and strong female character.
Yes, I can imagine the world in Lord of the Mysteries is really well created and complex, it seems like that, looking at how long the books are and honestly it sounds like most fantasy books, at least these I personally read, and that's why I know I'd like it, because especially heavy fantasy is absolutely my taste, all other types of fantasy are fine too. And I can guess Lotm is really professionally written even without reading it. You trying to encourage me to read books is honestly diabolical, because I really would love to read them and I don't need encouragement, but the problem is I physically can't do it. If the books were available here in paper, I'd consider it more, but now when they're only online, and probably also not all chapters, it's close to impossible for me. But I don't say no ultimately, and I truly hope one day I'll get to read this book series. And we know we'll how it's very hard to transfer book series into animated or movies series, you can never fully tell the story this way, also looking at Harry Potter movies and many others like that. It especially applies to all heavy fantasy series. But it's impressive some people try to make movies out of long book series, like for example Dune series...
As for Witch Hat Atelier, I heard some people say it's the best fantasy manga ever created, can't comment on it because I haven't read it, if it's finished, I might start and see myself. But as for anime, it was actually supposed to be very high quality and very good, I assumed it even before it started. And it is like that, nothing to complain about, I love how the world and information isn't overwhelming and too complicated, at least for now and we are being told what we need to know and the pacing is perfect, I think. I also like how well is the magic system explained there, because sometimes we don't get any explanation or description how magic in some fantasy world works, where it comes from and if it's limited or not and I'm happy in this series, there's nothing not clear and I don't wonder about anything, just enjoy watching. As for magic itself, it's very creative idea and it immediately reminded me of The Owl House animated series (not anime), because in that world you drew your spells too, at least some character did. Also, magic immediately reminds me of HP, but I think Witch Hat Atelier makes a lot more sense and is more engaging and logical. So, I can't wait for manga to be finished and read it one day.
As for multi-pov stories, I actually dislike when there're too many pigs in a book, however it sometimes works well. I can think about Six of Crows or whole Grisha books series, or The Priory of the orange tree books universe, especially with the first one, I loved multi povs there, well maybe because I actually cares for all main characters. But I usually prefer when there's one or two povs. But if I had to choose only one style, I'd say one pov is best for me to read. Though, sometimes I'd go for two, it depends on the book very much. And which books with multi povs have you been reading lately if I may know? It's not very common style. It also reminds me of my guilty pleasure book 'Carry on', which is a very interesting, because it starts with many various povs and as the book (and the other two) goes, there are more povs being added....
The things I wanted to say or ask, I don't really remember what I meant last time, but I know I mostly wanted to know if you plan to watch Gnosia soon, because as I recall, you planned to watch it when it's finished and it is, since some time... The only thing that bothers me is that it has 21 episodes, the number looks weird, it'd be better if it had 22 episodes... I've never come across any series with 21 episodes before haha. But you know, my obsession with Gnosia is still very active, even bigger, I could say. I don't know if I ever end this phase of mine. And it's hard to explain why I love it so much, it's surely mostly about characters, I feel like I know them all personally... But maybe I missed it and you watched Gnosia already, anyway, let me know, if you do, feel free to talk about characters from there as much as you want to.
Replying to letters at night surely is atmospheric and nice, if it was about writing a paper letter, I'd probably do it at night too. But honestly, I think I write fragments of the reply whenever I feel like it, but I rarely do it at night nowadays, because using my phone when it's dark feels even worse, so can't really do it but I totally understand why it feels better sometimes. And I also take a lot of time to reply, I mean, mostly before replying but when I finally start doing it, it doesn't take that much because I go with the flow. But yes, writing long letters take a lot of time and effort, and I'm happy when people appreciate it and are able. To do the same. Oh and while replying, I listen to my 'writing' playlist and Gnosia ost (which I adore). And it's totally fine if you don't reply everything directly, it's better not to be too strict in a conversation especially when it's not about something important, so I don't mind it at all, and probably do the same, I know I'm good at going off-topic. And I don't feel disrespected at all, quite the opposite. It's a pleasure and privilege to be able to write, especially to you.
Wooooo you also read TGED\(◎o◎)/!
and Yes! I seem to love psychological these days ^^ (These high stake games and mystery and suspense are so cool! like spies and agents and such hehe)
(also, are you like sad that I like team moriarty 😅)
Sibuk kuliah wkwk
Anyway, if I said I've been doing good it wouldn't be true, but it's also not terrible, I guess. If I'm able to write a message, it might be even much better than I feel. And I hope the same goes for you, meaning you're fine.
I absolutely agree with you on that matter and adore your attitude about it. I would say I'm the same except for the fact I never really wanted people to like me or surely not everyone. Maybe during my childhood I felt that a bit, but I found out very soon I'm not that type of person who is liked by others and if there's even one person who talk or enjoy my presence, it's already a lot. And I just had to accept that. Later, I also came to conclusion, less friends and people who like me = less problems and waste of time or energy. Besides, it's also hard for me to believe anyone can really like me or want to be my friend, speaking of real life here. But coming back to you, it's great to hear you realised you can't befriend anyone or please everyone, because as you say, you really can't do it. There will always be people who for example wouldn't like you because you're too friendly or something like that. I wish my female enfp friend realise that too because she's my age and still thinks she can be everyone's friend and try to keep people by her side no matter what, even if they directly destroy her life... Besides, I fully agree it's best to be yourself and not intentionally change for the sake of other people. If everyone was that outgoing and cheerful, it'd be weird... And same for the opposite. Personally, I'd always prefer to be happy and best version of myself alone than suffer and pretend all the time with around 'friends'.
Genuinely, I don't feel like I'm comparing myself to anyone. But if you think so, maybe it's partially the truth, maybe I do it very subconsciously, without being aware of it... But I can tell you, I never really compared myself to others because I consider myself as inferior and don't it doesn't feel right to even do it. I'm just like out of the question and any list. Maybe I don't think I'm much worse in every aspect but even so, I think I'm too inidivual and specific to be put equally to others. And if you talk about writers, I definitely don't compare to them bedside I never ever in my life thought of myself as an authors, I just write sometimes and that's it. And I know well there's a huge difference between writing for others to read and for the sake of writing only. Because your texts has suit publishing market and you just can't write whatever you want in your book unless you're a self publisher. And it's as you say, a book isn't a work of one person and it's never fully written by the main author. So you get, I can't even compare myself with writers because I'm not a one haha. And wouldn't even like to be one, because it would surely kill all joy from writing as for me. And it's hard to say what type of writing is more valuable because, but it's good to mention that what I write is only mine. And yeah, I think it might be considered as brave and crazy that I called my written works as poems... But I can assure you, I'll never write anything for public, if it ever happens, you can assume something is very wrong with me.
I think the whole point of gratitude is to feel it toward small things mostly, because we usually forget about them and not appreciate them comparing to big things, as the name say they're big and noticeable so it's not that hard with them but the important skill is to do the same with smallest and theoretically rather meaningless stuff. But I don't think there's anything I could appreciate myself for and I'm not trying to make others do it for me, I honestly don't see anything like that. And it's fine for me if most people don't listen or pay attention to me, I don't crave it anyway, I'm just happy about these few people who do and do it sincerely because they simply want to. I currently know few such people and I'm sure I'll meet another people like that in the future. Well, probably not in real life because it never truly happened but it's better to have such people online than don't have them at all, right... Anyway, thanks for listening to me.
Yeah, even neighboring countries are usually very different from each other, I don't know why people assume they are just because they're close... And I'd love anyone who can distinguish all Slavic countries, honestly... I started learning very early but school didn't taught me anything about it and I myself discovered at the age of 15-16 how it'd be helpful to know English and how many more things I could do with such knowledge and I'm really glad I'm at that point when I can use the language almost as freely as my native one. I'd always think foreign languages are one of the most important thing in life, not only English language. Learning them is also one of the best way to stimuli and train your brain at any age and I can only be happy I'm so fascinated by languages... I'd also never imagine I'd be learning and use Japanese a bit, or generally that japanese culture will influence me that much. What I always envy other people a bit is that feeling of being native in some language because you might be fluent in it but being native and playing with your language as you want to, is something else which can you only experience in your own language.
Actually no one told me the same thing before, well, I haven't been compared to Hermione at least but I was told about the same character traits... And I considered myself as Hermione-like myself too. And I think Hermione is a bit cold, sometimes that is, and I absolutely love her 'evil' side. But you're right, we can't really relate to one character 100%. However, I might be like female version of Snape myself, not only he's intj, I absolutely understand him and always have the same mood as him. And I wouldn't mind rotting in the dungeons all the time without seeing the sun for 10 months. Since Ron is enfp, you surely are similar to him in few aspects, but as you noticed, I also don't think you're that emotional and easily offensive. Honestly I don't really like Ron but at the same time I think he's a bit underrated... He's surely more sensible than Harry which is way too impulsive. Tonks is also enfp, do you think you can relate to her a bit? It might be hard to say because she's not very well described in the series and doesn't appear often. But I honestly think you have something from MCgonagall in your personality as well. Maybe the honesty, thoroughness and extensive knowledge. But you also remind me of Fred and George a bit, because you seem to have your own goals and beliefs, have sense of humour, creativity and know how to use your abilities and strengths.
Honestly, if it wasn't for constant travelling, I could think of becoming Auto Memory Doll because it sounds really nice... And carrying my stuff wouldn't even be the worst, I think I'm not that bad at it... But you could accompany me during trips if you wished so.
Well, typing sounds more fun than travelling to me, to be honest. And I get, you suggest travelling type of job for me to start liking travelling, maybe? Well, looking at my experience at working in the musuem which made me overcome my social fears and rise my non-existent skills, maybe it's not such a bad idea after all. I'll take it under consideration.
But still, I'd prefer to travel across Internet than the world haha. And meeting with my online friends sound scary, actually, not hopeful... In real, I'm not that funny or confident. Unless you hope I'd visit you one day.
It's true I don't really like long series or typical schonen anime, but I think One piece is something I could enjoy... At least some arcs probably. I also like pirate vibe very much (but I have thalassophobia) . I only considered watching one piece summary movies but I'm not sure if they're enough and okay if you only watch them instead of regular series. So, I might be missing a very good anime but watching One Piece would make me miss probably several other good anime, and honestly I prefer to watch many good ones that one... But now I actually plan to watch some longer series (50-100 episodes, which I consider pretty long). I searched which ones interest me and there are no many of such anime, I'm currently watching Fullmetal Alchemist which I avoided for a long time and it's just okay for me, I also plan to watch like 5 other long ones. Watching such series has this advantage that you don't have to worry what to watch next every 2 days but at the same time it might be a bit tiring mentally to watch the same thing for a long time. Of course you can take breaks or watch something else in a meantime but still.
It seems HBO is already contradicting the books... And finally, a fellow potterhead, I've been dying to ask someone what they think about HP series trailer that came up lately. So, did you watch it and what you think about it? Since we knew this series is being produced, I was very indifferent toward it and I thought I won't watch it and I just don't care about it. Not much changed about my opinion honestly. But I somehow was excited about the trailer or rather curious. Obviously all cast isn't to my taste because I'm too used to actors from movies but it doesn't mean new actors will be bad. What's most important, I really think this series is so unnecessary because movies aren't old at all.. But whatever, they probably just want money but instead they're getting more and more hate, because I didn't come across one person on the Internet who'd be genuinely happy about it and look forward to it. Many people might watch it out of curiosity, some will watch to be able to hate and criticise it even more and maybe few will enjoy it. Personally, I don't feel like spending money on it, might only watch it if I become an online pirate, but I don't think I'll be that desperate.
I feel the same, I absolutely dislike naive characters or these highly careless ones. It's not like I directly hate when but I just never like such characters, they're too annoying and different from my own mindset. Generally female protagonists are already interesting because they're protagonist, though it's very hard to make them overstrong or confident. I'd honestly dream of loser female main character but not in a cute way like it sometimes is presented. Hate when they make hopeless heroine just clumsy or stupid but funny or worse, when they find a reliable male and it ends all good then.
Don't be shy, you can mention all your favourite or relatable characters here. And yeah, Danganronpa is soo good about this aspect, not only plot is engaging and unique (I don't only mean murders but just general plot) but also characters are well written, very diverse and likeable. So, some of them will annoy you and you wish for them to die fast and some of them you'll love and cry for them. Junko is really such a great, charismatic and energetci antagonist... I don't even know any character that'd be similar to her and it's a good thing. I totally loved ending of Danganronpa 1 because of her show at the end.
And you're right, there are practically no female detectives, I didn't think about it before but somehow, Kirigiri isn't my favourite character. I recall there's a female detective in 'The girl with a dragoon tattoo' book series by Stieg Larssoon but I usually dislike pure detective stories books because they're so repetitive and boring for me so I don't really know many other. I know there's also one on Gosick anime which I haven't watched yet. And probably some unknown other ones.
Thanks for explaining why you like each of these characters from your favourite, it's good to know. Speaking of Your lie in April, I actually watched it finally, as the first anime in April and what can I say, actually not much, I knew the plot because I read manga before as you remember and it's surely a very good anime from this genre, but I'm not fan of this genre, so yeah... Also I know it may sound very bad but I'm not a big fan of this art style, faces look a bit weird to me... I sometimes like characters like Kaori (for example I love Marin Kitagawa that has similar personality), but something about Kaori wasn't to my taste.... I also avoid watching anything related to medical by some reasons. But anyway, I can understand why people love this anime.
As for Maomao, yes, I think she's a good example of how female in anime should look and behave like.. Of course all women are different but I meant it rather in the context, you don't need to have them half naked and cute or stupid and the fact so many people love Maomao shows we really need such characters. I can quite relate to Maomao. Anyway, in most anime females aren't even close to realistic.
I'm not sure if trios always are made of two opposite characters and one in balance for them, but probably it's typical, I didn't think about it this way before. Honestly, lately I read whole Attack on Titan manga to see if I like the story and characters more this way and if it's any different from anime and no, I liked it the same way and also it didn't make me care for characters more, maybe even less. The story is terrifying anyway. I actually usually like antagonists and villains too, whether it's in anime or books, I always, since I remember was more interested in their point of views, their goals and behaviour, I usually could sympathise or understand them a bit. But sometimes I was fully on 'good' side. Like for example, I don't really like main antagonist in Harry Potter, main, because there are few more interesting ones, in my opinion. And speaking of antagonists, maybe I mentioned it or not, but one of the best written ever is in Hunger Games. It's also interesting when there's no one specific antagonist but it's about the world or system in general that's against people.
Yeah, many people might actually recognise Ghibli movies without knowing where it comes from, but I'd always recommend watching the movies! The art style and music complete each other in movies very well after all. I'm not showing off, I just wanted to tell you my favourite composers, at least there I remember about... My goal wasn't to make you feel bad in any way, besides, such interest or knowledge is absolutely optional and uncommon so don't worry about anything and you can always check them if you're interested enough. It is makes you feel better - I have practically no idea and knowledge about any other artists, especially modern ones.
You played piano, really? And you rather meant you just tried playing it for fun or took piano lessons maybe? As for me, I never touched any instrument, so my interest in classical music is only about listening it. I never also wanted to play any instrument, well, maybe as a child but I never did anyway. And I don't know what I'd prefer to play, but rather piano than violin or maybe some less popular instrument. But I can imagine how tiring is to play instruments.
I wish I could read Lord of the mysteries books, really, but they're not available here and as I said, reading it online would be very difficult for me, though I'll think about it since there are no chances for paper version, especially in libraries, even in several years time. But if you're focused enough, anime is great too, at least I enjoyed it and now I can't wait for further seasons, I wonder how many of them will come in the future. The Victorian London inspiration is very visible indeed but the world is also very unique and refreshing itself. Sometimes fantasy worlds and unecessary too complex but I didn't feel it in LOTM. I can't actually say that much about worldbuilding here, especially as I didn't read books and there's only one season of anime and I feel like it's the very beginning and just a little part of the world. The history of the world, the Gods, the powers and pathways, seem typical for fantasy world, I mean, names and story is different but I see the scheme, the only thing that is that there's really a lot of all of these things. I think it's important to tell a history about your fantasy world and I appreciate when I can understand and remember it more or less like it was here. I read a bit about the world in LOTM, but I still am not that knowleable about it. There are many things to learn about but I hope everything will be explained over time. What I like about this world, mmm, I think the concept of Beyonders itself, it also shows it can be dangerous and you can't lose control and yourself. But as I said, I don't know that much to freely talk about this world...
May your owl be in good health, maybe next time send a letter by Phoenix or Dragon :)
