i won't deny that sometimes those AI generated images help as i can clearly understand what they want but there are also such people who don't get that you can't exactly edit already generated pic cause it's just a pic and not a PSD or vector file smh AI designs are starting to look the same after my 2nd month of working there !! Ah nice! Yeah Ninajirachi has been one of my favorite new artists recently. I have heard that underscores' album! That's one of my favorites on it, along with The Peace and Wish U Well. I have not listened to daine beyond the feature on the Ninajirachi album tho. Looks like they have a similar style. Are you a big fan of hyperpop?

Aah, that would certainly explain things. I really ought to get around to the original film myself, and probably re-watch Bloodlust as well. I'd ask how it was but, as I said I do want to watch it myself so, you know.

And to get back to things:
This is true, that is how I play JRPGs, and how everyone else seems to play them as well. There was a joke in the first season about trying to figure out which was the right way so that they can go the wrong way first wasn't there? Also I had a great idea the other day: literally just an Etrian Odyssey game but with Frieren visuals; maybe focus it more on Frieren, Himmel, Heiter, and Eisen since it feels like they did more dungeon exploring, but make it like the Untold games where the "story" mode has you play as them, but then the mode that plays like the series normally does and lets you make a party lets you pick from everyone.
There's this one gif made from panels of the One Punch-Man manga and it looks incredible, so I can imagine, and the same from what I've seen of Miura's art. Accursed funding issues; Frieren wasn't super popular until the anime right? Maybe Madhouse was able to use Overlord's consistent success to convince them that they knew what they were talking about, or something like that. I was going to say something about how it's always super popular web novels that get turned into light novels and then into anime, so surely they are popular, but then I remembered the sheer number of light novel adaptations that only got a single season, and no yeah you're totally right. Even No Game No Life never got a season two, and I'm convinced that Zero happens much later on in the story and was more of a pet project for Madhouse than anything else.
Yeah, having said that it does feel like Frieren feels like she missed out on at least something with Himmel. It fortunately has indeed been a lot cooler since then^^
I don't quite remember the restaurant episode but yeah, that's bound to happen anyway; she's just here to enjoy the little things. You really don't; zoltraak, or however it's spelt, is clearly more than enough to get the job done and sticking to one basic spell lets you be more careful instead of having to worry about complicated spells; it also works pretty well in terms of the story since it's useful in all situations, and all the complicated one-off spells that are a lot more niche can be used for all their opponents instead. Frieren certainly knows a lot of them, I bet she knows some really messed up magic as well - as if a black hole wasn't kind of messed up already. It'd be cool if at one point there's some spell Frieren never uses or cared about, but it's either of personal importance to someone or necessary for something, and she's like the only person that knows it anymore - well, Serie would definitely know it too but she'd never give it up that easily. Did I ever mention how much I like Serie's voice by the way - oh, I was looking up what else her seiyuu has been in, and she's going to be in Kininatteru Hito ga Otoko ja Nakatta; I've not even read that but I can tell that that's going to be perfect. Also I was going via your profile to get to Frieren's page to check that as is my usual method, and realised that aren't Frieren season three and Dungeon Meshi season two both the end of next year? Wonderful times for you my friend^^
There'd totally be a scene of Frieren letting Fern do it anyway, or hiding that she got the spell from her and only using it when she's by herself. Elf debt is a concept that has a lot of comedic potential.
Alright now let's see, hopefully I made sufficient notes to talk about the rest of Frieren, I think I wrote down everything as little as I have written. The part right before Revolte appears is so cool, and there was a lot of neat three dimensional animation in that fight as well; Genau's magic, that is all, you know how I feel about it; now, I wrote down Gehen's name but what did I want to say, oh dear, I think maybe I just wanted to remember how to spell his name lmao; I think that was a nice end to season two with the bridge and putting up the barrier around the crystals so they can't be mined and everything. Frieren and Fern teaming up to say no head pats allowed to Methode until it is revealed that she came prepared and has a useless grimoire to offer Frieren, and right at the end where Fern hides half of their money so Frieren can't spend it and Frieren is all impressed with here; this is a fun series.
I also wanted to say seeing as I just watched it myself, that maybe The Tatami Galaxy is a series you would enjoy, but that's only sort of vague; it's hard to explain without spoiling things, so maybe only if you had some sort of interest in it already.
