I'm having a blast with this new water-soluble pen that I've been using for Inktober (#inktober2018) It's called the Elegant Writer Pen and it releases green and a bit of pink ink when wet. You can see two videos of me painting it on Instagram.

Here's my Daily Paintworks Challenge for this week. Love drawing old trucks!! Such wonderful shapes and colours... well actually, they were both blue so I made one red. I also omitted the wire fence and I pulled the shadows into the foreground.

Here's the 5th and last of my car series. I try to keep my drawings as gestural as possible then add lots of watercolour and water, letting it merge. I especially like the turquoise that found it's way down into the shadow.

Fall is here! It's a tough season to paint since there are so many colours, so I thought I'd zone in on some birch and maple trees. The old car insisted on being part of it!
