Most jobs that require degrees rarely require skills/knowledge learned in college/uni aside from sci/tech/engineering because the benefit there is that colleges have millions of dollars of instruments/equipment to fuck around with …

What I see as the value of a degree is that it’s a piece of paper that says that youre likely able to learn and play whatever game a job entails, communicate formally and effectively, be self sufficient, understand/accomplish specified goals with deadlines, and work effectively in a team.

Can someone without a degree have those skills? Totally. Does someone with a degree have all those skills? Not specifically, but they’ve likely been through the ringer for ~4 years and seen a lot of shit they had to face on their own and be accountable for it.

Can someone cheat their way through and be useless, sure, but they frequently found out…or just become managers unfortunately.

There is a cult of personality around him that others cant seem to replicate though. I wouldn’t be surprised if that left some of his zealots politically rudderless. That being said someone who doesn’t talk like a dipshit might re-attract the more moderate Republicans even if all the decision making is consistent

While holding the flashlight at 27 yrs of age while he works to install a vanity He says “give me the twisty turney”.

I replied “The twisty turney?”

He confirmed “Yehlah give me the twisty turned. Quick.”

This is the man who for my entire life taught me the name and use of every single tool in the box…im thinking socket wrench? Channel lock pliers? Hes working on plumbing…but also sort of carpentry…

I said “you’re going to have to be more specific”

He replied “The damn Philips head screwdriver”

I replied “ahh yes, the classic twisty turney”

Wonder if his son will stop using his clout to grift “supplements” now

What? Isn’t it very complete?

So are there any pro-boner lawyers looking to challenge as many white people as they can?

My sister was a drummer in a 3 piece band with a guitarist and a vocalist (Sparse I knoow). The vocalist ended up kicking the drummer and guitarist out of the band and refused to admit that it means she left the band.
