If the IQ test were a true indicator of intellect the score would be fixed each and every time it is taken regardless of outside influences.

This is the case with professional IQ tests. They’re among the most repeatable measures in the entire field of psychology.

They’re not bullshit - you just don’t like them or understand what they actually measure.

You can say that, but it doesn’t make it true. I don’t think most of them are evil, and given their position they’re probably above average intelligence as well.

True evil is when causing harm (or suffering) is not merely a means to an end, but the end itself - the person derives pleasure or satisfaction from the act of harming others, independent of any larger goal. They don’t rationalize it as “necessary” or “for the greater good.” The suffering is the point.

People often say that psychopaths act like they do because they don’t know how it makes people feel but the opposite is actually true - they know exactly how other people feel which is why they’re so good at manipulating them. They simply just don’t feel bad about taking advantage of that.

I don’t think there is an observer. There’s just consciousness and its content. Obviously I have a subjective point of view but that doesn’t mean there’s a centre to my counsciousness where the self is located.

Art is art. It doesn’t matter to me who or what made it. The only thing I care about is whether it’s good or not.

Haters love to pretend that anything made by GenAI is automatically bad, but that’s just them expressing how they feel about AI, not an observation about reality. That claim holds up exactly as well as saying all human-made art is great. If only the world was that neat and binary like that - but it isn’t.

I do still think OP’s reasoning is childish. Digital artists are individuals, and treating them as one uniform group is just petty and ignorant.

I often see old people walking with their hands behind their back, and I’m sure this too is some kind of realization of a walking style that takes 70 years to fully appreciate the superiority of.

I wouldn’t spend too much time looking for a lable to apply to yourself because you’re probably not going to find one that perfectly fits. Reality is way too complex to be neatly categorized like that.

Sexual and romantic interests doesn’t need to match. This has probably more to do with the dom & sub dynamic than about being gay. It’s a kind of a mismatch between how you feel and what you think is expected from you based on your gender.

I was in the same situation at your age. I’m just as confused 15 years later but I’ve stopped fighting it. I like what I like and I don’t need to explain it. Most people deal with stuff like this but they just keep it hidden to avoid judgement. You wouldn’t believe how many comments I get online starting with “I’m not gay but..”

The Finnish version of Yle is the only news publisher I follow and it is tax payer fumded and ad free. It’s kind of a Finnish BBC. It’s not unbiased but broadly speaking their journalism is of quite high quality. It’s not of much use for people not from Finland but just an example that such thing can be done.

This isn’t about how the consumer can get paid content for free but about how the creator can sustain the production of that content when hardly anyone is willing to pay for it.

Yeah perfectly normal. Vatasen = Vatanen’s, Vataselle = to Vatanen, Vataselta = from Vatanen, Vatasessa = in Vatanen, and so on. You can do that with any word pretty much.

It’s a flexible language. I don’t envy the ones trying to learn it.

Most people would prefer it to be both free and ad-free and just make it work somehow. Doesn’t matter how - use magic or whatever.
