You’re welcome! She will love it. She LOVES attention. People tell her she’s so pretty all the time and that she’s smart and good and she basks in it like “I know I am”

She can totally tell when people are admiring her, even if she doesn’t know their words. She’s one of the most emotionally intelligent horses I’ve ever met.

Got a rope halter to use for bridling. She was unsure of it at first and it took a couple tries for her to let me get it on her all the way lol.

I uninstall new outlook on every computer I set up for end users because it is nothing but problems. If I’m going to have people use any Outlook, it’s sure as fuck gonna be classic

They do not. She gets sprayed with fly spray in the summer, but I make my own that is safe for ingestion.

I have epilepsy and the big lights kill my eyes and head. I work with mostly natural light in my house and have all my electronics set to be hella dim with max blue light filtering

Oh yeah. She got pampered while she had her dinner. She got all energetic afterwards, so I took her to the round pen for some exercises lol.

She gave me a hell of a time with her bridle. I put her back in her halter so I could have easier control while bridling and once it was on, she was fine because she realized the bit tasted good.

She was pumped to exercise when we got into the arena. She trotted and even cantered on the lunge line without me prompting. She got out her energy and was a lil spicy when I hitched her to a metal bar outside for brushes. I made her stand there and she eventually calmed down and licked the bar to amuse herself. She stood there and was perfectly behaved for like an hour and a half while I bullshitted with some folks.

Started brushing out Sandy's winter coat today and attempted to practice putting a bit and bridle on.

I got so much dirt and dust and hair in my sinuses. I spent a good hour brushing her and I didn’t even come close to getting everything off. The deeper layers haven’t even started to shed yet.

decided to see if Sandy would take a bit and bridle without trouble and she did!

I showed her the bridle before I was gonna put it on her and she understood the assignment and tried to put it on herself. She put the bit in her mouth and tried to force her head into the rest but it was not in the proper position. When I fixed it, she gave me no issues putting it on and stood like an angel while I adjusted it.

Sorry for the lack of Sandy pics! I was super sick and then my cat caught my house on fire. My house and critters are fine. The fire was localized to the kitchen and was put out quick by the FD. It’s just been a mess to get handled.

I switched her blanket from her medium weight to light weight since the next few days are gonna be nice but the nights will be cold. I’m so happy with how much of a winter coat she got! It’s gonna be so much fun to brush out!

After she decided to give me problems putting her halter on. She decided to escape her stall and take a jog around the barn and hold her head too high for me to reach. I wouldn’t have been too upset about it normally, but I’d already been there for 2 hours and it was like 30F, so I was cooooold.
