here is a 1D chess if you want to try it. Im 100% he could not do it https://rowan441.github.io/1dchess/chess.html
if that wording is what bothers you, you are part of the problem
have you met Ursula von der Leyen? she will absolutely cave to Trump. No doubt about it
I think the thing with paris is that it converted a non cyclist city into one. netherlands AfAIK did that 40 years ago. people assume it was always that way.
plenty of people claim transforming a modern city is impossible and Paris is the proof that it is not
trying to run nextcloud using the aio thing was one of the most frustrating things ever. it is so slooow. I ditched it pretty quick
this looks a lot like that “European X alternative” named “W” which was vaporware. I wish journalist were more critical with the claims of these people.
that is an absurdly high price for energy. I pay on average between 20 and 30 euro cent per kwh
…forcing the evacuation of more than 150,000 people. More than 2,000 die in the process.
it looks precise to me
There is also the possibility that Pumpkin Harkonnen just wants some ‘donations’ to provide individual exceptions to brands.
while this sounds awful. there is little correlation between patents and actual features. companies patent whatever they can. it mean little if it is a good idea or not. they just want the largest possible patent portfolio.
I’m about to buy an BYD EV. I checked several european brand and all of them seemed inferior or too expensive for me (bmw, mercedes and volvo do have nice electric options, but not within my budget ).
they all seemed like they were forced into making them and put the smallest effort into them (stellantis, VAG)
Chuck Norris didn’t die. We all did and went to hell except him.
I think FOSS enable those kind of communities but I don’t think FOSS as a concept is any of those things. those communities could equally work with a non FOSS license (eg one that prevents commercial use or a license that allow usage only by members of a specific community). They uses existing licenses because they go momentum and have legal precedents that allows people to defend their rights.
Most FOSS licenses were specifically designed to allow profiting from the wok of others, even the GPL. Just see how many billion dollar companies (think Azure, AWS, etc) profit from projects without giving anything back.
yes. I misread you who answered to and jumped at it.
those celeries are definitively too underpowered
edit- > I just realized you meant the celeron and it all make sense now! sorry!
this chip has better single thread performance than the mac pro m2 ultra that apple still sells.
there are in fact very little chips faster in single core than this chip
edit- I went and look for some geekbench and the neo cpu is way better than I expected compared with intel cheap cpus.
the best intel result in single core is the i9-14900ks which is lower than the a18 pro (~3200 vs~3400). If you go to multithread and look for the closes match you need to check i7s or i9s from 11-13 gen (e.g. i7-11700f, that have 50% less score in single thread).
so I have no idea where you get the idea this chip is underpowered
the issue with this product is that it is not the right product for most people that discuss technology online, but it is still a great product for tons of people
what do you mean by little cpu? that SoC beats so many budget chromebooks an cheap laptops.
phones don’t run at 800V, at higher voltage you need lower amperage to push the same energy
I gave up meat like 7 years ago. I used to be a “meat guy” before that.
curiously, I found that quitting meat was not as hard as I expected. I ate fish for one year as a transition and then I also gave up that. I’ve tried to give up cheese an eggs three times and failed.
(edit.. I forgot the point I was going to make) anyway. I don’t even want lab grown meat. I don’t crave it or want it.
not to say lab grown meat is not a great idea, but maybe just a transitional help
I see. there was another similar study that touched on what I mention. I assumed it was the same https://www.transportenvironment.org/uploads/files/2025_09_TE_briefing_PHEV_gap_growing.pdf
