omg… I feel nauseous… I have a massive headache like I lost 40 IQ points and just feel GROSS all over… wtf did I do to myself yesterday?
Oh yeah I watched a Steven Seagal movie. why do I do this to myself. this wasn’t even one of his “real” movies, it was one of those that are spliced together from a couple episodes of his failed TV show… where the most exciting “stunts” are a car chase or a gunfight… and you gotta see his smarmy face as he gropes one of his women employees…. urg I gotta go throw up
ok I’m back. never again. never again I hope to see another steven seagal movie. say something, steven, say something to make it all better.

The Adventures of Hercules (1985) - Mastodon watch party this Sunday evening!
Starring Lou “The Original TV Hulk” Ferrigno… Yes, it’s the sequel to last week’s movie! But something tells me you won’t miss much if you didn’t see the first movie… The Adventures of Hercules (1985) is the movie for this Sunday’s “monsterdon” watch party over on Mastodon, our fediverse sibling!
Brazil (1985, 720p) - Terry Gilliam absurdist dystopia (dailymotion.com) Fantasy Comedy Science Fiction
The film centres on Sam Lowry, a low-ranking bureaucrat trying to find a woman who appears in his dreams while he is working in a mind-numbing job and living in a small flat, set in a dystopian world in which there is an over-reliance on poorly maintained (and rather whimsical) machines and where people found guilty of crimes are liable for the costs of their interrogation by torture. Brazil’s satire of technocracy, bureaucracy, hyper-surveillance, corporate statism, and state capitalism is reminiscent of George Orwell’s 1949 novel Nineteen Eighty-Four,[11][12][13] and it has been called “Kafkaesque"[14] as well as absurdist.
Control (2007 480p) - about the band Joy Division's lead singer Ian Curtis (dailymotion.com)

Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) - Full Movie, with Gary Oldman, Anthony Hopkins, Winona Rider, Keanu Reeves (dailymotion.com)
Bram Stoker’s Dracula was theatrically released in the United States on November 13, 1992 by Columbia Pictures. It received mixed reviews from critics, with praise for Coppola’s direction, the production values, and Oldman’s performance,[7][8] although Reeves’ performance was very heavily criticized.[9][10][11] The film opened at the top of the box office, grossing $215.9 million against its $40 million budget, and was nominated in four categories at the 65th Academy Awards, winning Best Costume Design for Eiko Ishioka, Best Sound Editing, and Best Makeup, while also being nominated for Best Art Direction.

A great discussion on !buyitforlife@slrpnk.net about the longevity of Docs vs Solovairs made me think of this meme. See here for the discussion: https://lemmy.world/post/37610639
