Iran’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying no dialogue is taking place between the two sides and characterizing Trump’s announcement as part of efforts to lower energy prices and buy time for military planning.

You can’t trust trump to hold to any ceasefire. Hell launch a surprise attack, declare victory immediately, and try to blame victim when you keep fighting.

Oh it’s definitely something like that. Trump may be dumb publicly, but he’s also blindly loyal to his own ego and wallet. He has a reason for this, whether it’s market manipulation or bribes, but he definitely has a reason that will serve him exclusively.
