It’s just a stupid “slippery slope” fear mongering

Do you want me to point to the last 25 years?

I could go back further.

The slippery slope fallacy has to do with ignoring the fact that restraint is possible.

I am gonna ask you to look at the last 25 years and show me where there’s been an ounce of restraint to privacy in the US. An ounce of restraint placed upon surveillance.

Hey, sure. I’m not arguing for the term toxic masculinity. I’m arguing against pseudo masculinity because it’s way more confusing.

It’s probably better to find another term entirely

That may be. I’m just suggesting pseudo masculinity is worse because it’s already confused.

Took the equivalent popular name from the year of my birth. As in second most popular boy name to second most popular girl name.

It felt correct immediately, but YMMV

The people who are offended by “toxic masculinity” already use pseudo masculinity to describe everything not toxic masculinity.

All yold I think pseudo masculinity can only be more confusing.

No doubt in response to Europe making its choice for software open source. Expect targeted attacks on FOSS to increase

You don’t balance genocidal supporters by having a trans person as well. How disgusting.

I can’t access the paper but a lot of people are drawing wild conclusions from it and misrepresenting what’s there.

In short, what I could find was, they asked 40 employees from a tech startup about their AI use.

They did no comparison study or experiment.

If I had to guess the tech startup probably works in AI as well. Not exactly an unbiased study.

Looks like cable ties. As a former network admin. Fuck cable ties

It wasn’t just the US. I’m outside and I couldn’t write the word in DMs either.
