When I do it it’s like “Wow that was so much fun hearing your experience of that thing! Let me tell you my exact same experience so you can get dopamine, too!” I’m actually pretty commited to the reality that I’m a relatively boring person, so I never think my story is better.

I had it only once and it tasted spicy/bitter to me, a bit like it had black pepper in.

Both are true - Roman society is patriarchal in a particular way, e.g women were known by their fathers name (e.g Agrippina Claudius is daughter of Claudius) and considered almost like property of their father, until they were married off to a husband, and were henceforth known by their husbands name.

Sound familiar? That’s basically what Atomicbocks is referencing

When I was a kid and teenager there were a couple of people who somehow managed to get broken or sprained bones over and over and over again. Some of them really seemed to like the attention associated with it and would make sure they got into school even when they could’ve taken loads of days off

I find myself wanting to stare out of the window for at least 2 mintues straight, committing the whole view to my memory, for many spaces I’m in. The higher up off the ground it is, or the further you can see, the better it is.

What advice or tips do you have which sound like nonsense but really work?

When I can’t sleep, I turn around and sleep “upside down” - moving my pillows to where my feet were beforehand, and my feet to where my head was beforehand - and I stick with that for a week or so. It gives me a week or so without insomnia and then wears off, so I have to turn myself back around for the next 7-12 day period.

Why does google decide to log people out of all their google accounts all at once with no warning?

I have a couple (e.g spam, uni, personal) and it’s so profoundly unhelpful to make me sign into them one at a time by coordinating between 2 or more different devices. an occasional spot check for security would make sense if I was just booted out of one account, but instead it logs me out of every single one at once?? What gives?

Why does Reddit block people browsing with VPNs when logged out but allow you to log-in and use a VPN?

The VPN block presumably exists to discourage people from voting manipulation, ban evasion, et cetera, but you can’t do any of those things when not logged in.
