Doxygen er et dokumentationssystem for C++, C, Objective-C, C#, PHP, Java, Python, IDL, Fortran, WHDL og i nogen omfang D. Systemet kan oprette en dokumentationsbrowser på nettet (i HTML) og/eller en frakoblet referencemanual (i LaTeX) fra et sæt af dokumenterede kildefiler.

Der er også understøttelse for oprettelse af manualsider i formaterne RTF, PostScript, hyperlinked PDF, komprimeret HTML og Unix. Dokumentationen bliver udtrukket direkte fra kilderne.

Installer pakken doxygen-latex for at bygge LaTeX-baserede dokumenter.
