A.K.A. its in-game achievements screen.

Colors me surprised such an old game, 20 y.o. this year, and for the PS2 no less, already had achievements.

Also a bit of a tangent, but iirc, the Sky Pirate’s Den was initially removed in the remaster for the sake of online achievements, but that apparently people liked it so much they managed to pressure Square into putting it back in the remaster (and imo, glad they did add it back hehe).

When moving the cursor (which I edited out), the selected sprite moves in a loop, some sprites showing interactions when selected, while others show idle animations, and completing the Sky Pirate’s Den is certainly a quest for sure (some of the superbosses can be… interesting).

Never bothered much for achievements, but maybe for the sense of tangible accomplishment, the FFT/Revenant Wings-like sprites, or the game overall not being very repetitive, it was a fun one to complete. And it probably makes a good wallpaper too. e.e"
