That might be the case; I usually look at the zuurvlees :)
Now that you mention it, I once saw a mexicano that was twice the usual length. It was awesome.

I think that’d be hard to notice because Lemmy doesn’t add a bullshit border and watermark to images.
@OP I think you can disable those somewhere in the Reddit app (but then again, you shouldn’t use the Reddit app in the first place).
Edit: use this to get Old Reddit on mobile:
Yeah, Dutch snackbars have all kinds of foods that I haven’t even seen in Belgium, like mexicanos and kapsalons.
Also, hagelslag en chocoladevlokken, and the best peanut butter in the world.
Also, Dutch bread is actually good, so you don’t need to put a lot of stuff on it to make it tasty.
Apparently, it’s a new story: https://avatar.fandom.com/wiki/Avatar:_Seven_Havens
4-6 hours, because of kids. It’s not ideal, but I’ve gotten used to it.
As long as you feel well, I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Everyone is built differently.

Yeah, it’s mostly about platforms:
Enshittification, also known as platform decay, is a process in which two-sided online products and services decline in quality over time. Initially, vendors create high-quality offerings to attract users, then they degrade those offerings to better serve business customers, and finally degrade their services to both users and business customers to maximize short-term profits for shareholders.

That’s quite a normal stairway for Mediterranean Europe, only the perspective is a bit off.

It sounds like you’rr already familiar with this, but for the uninitiated, Bret Devereaux wrote a cool blog post about the historical precedent for battle speeches.

Rocksmith is available again, if you have a real (bass) guitar. There are loads of custom songs available.

I feel like the soccer player does look more like his real life counterpart (Virgil van Dijk) with DLSS off.
I happened to catch it on tv late one night, it was really good.

It also works the other way around. People often depict medieval soldiers with outdated armour and weapons, saying things like: “he probably had his grandfather’s sword lying around and took that with him to the battle”. That’s like taking WW2 equipment to Iraq (or Cold War era Soviet tanks to Ukraine 😬).
