Template:Removed Middleware/Documentation

From PCGamingWiki, the wiki about fixing PC games
Description

Template used to indicate middleware that have been removed from all versions of a game. To be used in combination with the main {{Middleware}} template, but also supports being used separately if so desired.

Note that the core parameter should only list the name of the middleware product, without any version number, links, or similar superfluous additions. All values used are inserted into the backend and become available for querying so any superfluous additions beyond the middleware name will pollute said data with garbage.

Arguments
  • 1= - Middleware that have been removed from a game. Can either be used in a separate call, e.g. {{Removed Middleware|Denuvo Anti-Cheat}}, or in a comma-delimited list, e.g. {{Removed Middleware|Bullet Physics Engine, Havok, PhysX}}.
  • 2= - The type of middleware that it concerns. Only required when used outside of the {{Middleware}} template.
    • Values: physics, audio, interface, input, cutscene, multiplayer, anticheat

Example when used in the notes fields of the {{Middleware}} template
{{Removed Middleware|Easy Anti-Cheat}}
Example when used separately
{{Removed Middleware|Easy Anti-Cheat|multiplayer}}
