PC GamingYeah I get that from the other comments. I just don’t consider playing games with IRL friends part of community but I get it. I was thinking more of the almost universally reviled community forums.
Alright, I just have a knee-jerk reaction when any execs talk about ‘community’ that it’s normally something I have no desire to engage with. However, I see what you mean in this context!
Eh ‘community’ is like the least important reason why I use Steam. It’s just easy to buy, organize, and play your games with friends with a minimum of fuss or resource strain on my PC. I’m sure some people are into the community features but at the same time I feel gaming C-level execs always think that is more important than providing a good, easy-to-use product.

Our house was built in 1930 and sits directly across the street from what used to be the farmhouse that owned all the land. Our backyard slopes down to another road. Anytime we dig we find old trash. Our backyard must have been the dump of the farm.

Ha and I’m looking at an AMD Radeon R5 M330 and Intel® HD Graphics 620 combo Lenovo right now I found on Craigslist. Why do you say to avoid it?

There is a way to downgrade to Office Family Classic that removes the co-pilot features and is cheaper.

Some made a nest in our gravel driveway a few years ago and were eating from the fig tree in our front yard. I borrowed a shop vac, put soapy water in it and then laid the nozzle next to the hole for an entire day. After I stopped seeing any I got boiling soapy water and poured it down the hole several times and what was left of the nest (and queen) came out. So many dead Yellowjackets!

Old laptop recommendations for Linux?
Hey everyone, I’m looking for a cheap, old laptop to put Linux on and mess around with. I mainly want to see if I can find replacement software for some of the stuff I do on my Windows desktop, but maybe also some light gaming with Steam and Heroic launcher. I’d like to get some opinions on what brands/models I should be looking for on Craiglist/Ebay/etc.? Thanks!
