I’m not quite back yet. Too much going on with my life and I find myself only wanting to contribute content on piefed instead of consuming. I honestly am spending more time reading reddit posts again, because there really aren’t enough content on fediverse that interests me.

In Final Fantasy 7 Remake, in Sector 7 Slums I was asked to do various fetch quests unrelated to the story. That totally killed the vibe and the pacing. I stopped playing the game after that.

Culinary Class Wars S02E01. It starts so annoying slow. I would recommend skipping the first episode if you are interested in watching the series.
Season one was much better as far as I remember.

Is there really an impact on performance/storage for using cache instead of live data for votes?
NintendoThanks. I was more concerned about the intro of VII which many people say take too long. I don’t want to wait 90 minutes before the first battle starts.
I think it will be improved in the upcoming remake, and I like the art style based on what I have seen so far. So I will probably wait until the remake is available.

Anyway, my recommendation:

I dislike DQ XI, mainly because of the music.
I was playing DQ III. I prefer the original (NES) version over the HD-2D remake. But I will try to SNES translated version later. DQ III is still my favourite of the series.
Actually never played DQ VII, I’ve heard too many people saying the DQ VII is too long and slow paced. I think I will play the upcoming remake which is supposed to be streamlined.
Finished Dragon Quest IX. The gameplay has been fun but I didn’t really pay much attention to the story/dialogues.
Started playing Dragon Quest IV. I will see if I enjoy it as much.

What’s the point of motion blur in modern games? It’s the one setting I seem to have to turn off manually in far too many games. What other settings to you change in most games?
