Finished Oshii Mamoru’s Kerberos Movie Trilogy with Jin-Roh. It’s the only animated film in the trilogy and it’s a lot more serious than the other two films (they are all very good IMO).
I was debating whether to submit a clip of Fuse being a killing machine or this one but I really liked the human emotions he displayed here that we never get to see in any part of the film and yet he still ultimately plays the role of the wolf.
I use Strawberry for playing music and MusicBrainz Picard for file renaming and cover art.

I like how the anecdotes are just part of the world so you would be claiming your dailies from Katheryne and suddenly Varka shows up inquiring about his wine shipment.
It would be so funny if Capitano would suddenly show up right next to you one day lol
Really love what they made. Even if it’s just 15 minutes long it’s nice to revisit the alternate worlds of Eva, this included. Eva is timeless.

MangaIn the video, it’s framed that the world thinks manga is a “uniquely Japanese” thing but the video counters that by using Eike Exner’s book on manga history.
I did not finish the video yet (this is just the first minute or two) but I am going to guess that it’s either the Meiji period or the American occupation having influence on how manga eventually developed to what we know today. This is the same argument used by theorists like Azuma Hiroki but he talks about otaku culture more broadly.

Honestly, I just wasn’t aware there were other implementations other than Synapse and Dendrite. I feel a bit disappointed in myself if I just installed abandonware lol
Yeah Lemmy’s errors can be vague sometimes. I’ll just add it to the sidebar.
I suggest uploading directly to ani.social but there’s an upload limit of 25MB. If your file is bigger than 25MB, then you will have to re-encode it so it’s smaller. Something like https://8mb.video/ will make it easy.
Otherwise, you can use any external file host like https://catbox.moe/. I prefer if people upload directly to ani.social instead so we don’t put too much load on others.

I’ve considered it before but I’m mostly concerned about moderation. I have set up and used a personal Matrix server in the past so it’s something I can experiment with over the weekend.

Do you use them as a mobile IEM or are you usually stationary?
I usually use them mobile like when I walk to campus (I never leave home without it). I haven’t tried cooking with them on but for activities like that, you might want to consider wireless earphones instead (I don’t know much about those though).
Also, just curious which version you have.
I use mine with a 3.5mm TRN cable and a USB-C dongle to connect to my phone. It can be a bit bulky because of the dongle.
I went through 3 Quarks before I moved on to my 7hz Salnotes Zero.
I loved the Quarks because of the size but the cable kept breaking after a few months. My Salnotes Zero have been with me for a few years now. I had to replace the cable and the nozzle filter though.

Someone recently posted asking if we had a Matrix room. I used to be opposed to hosting one because moderation can be a bit difficult. The recent Discord issues have shown more interest in Matrix lately so I guess it’s worth experimenting on.
