For this summer I have quite a bit more time to enjoy my trip from victoria to calgary and I want to try to drive across the province differently than I have before.

my gf and i went to NYC and we needed to hit up the nearest convenience store ASAP. i look up on google maps and the nearest one is named “Hell” with 3.7 stars. we walk across the street to it and the front face of the store is just fucked with all these demonic creatures and symbols. and the store logo is exactly the same as that doom metal band from portland named Hell. anyway you can clearly see inside the store that it is just a normal shoppers drug mart like store. so we go in. after we pay we cannot seem to find the door. its just gone? after wandering around we end up exiting through the back into an alley and it becomes this like randomly-generate-as-you walk minecraft type thing where you can only see so far ahead as more world generates. and basically its generating some demonic hellscape version of NYC and all the people walking around on the streets are just fucked. like that creature from smiling friends where he goes too far into the woods

That appearance in france the other day is so weird. Is it actually possible it’s an impersonator? It sure seems like an impersonator.

I am not looking for software alternatives. Is the best method still to dual boot?

I’m deploying Frigate (camera NVR software) at work for our 100something security cams. We only buy Dell servers which is a shame because I would have probably went Supermicro in this instance. Anyway. I’m doing some research and it’s really unclear to me what Dell server I should go with if I intend to install a GPU in it.

I bought this truck used and it has aftermarket headlights I am fed up with. They look cool but constant issues with electronics and also the housing scratched so easily that it makes the truck look cheap.

I’m probably just an asshole nobody wants to talk to, but I can hardly even get a reply text from anyone anymore. A couple people have told me that they are just feeling burnt out/depressed/etc and don’t have even enough energy to answer a message anymore. But I’ve also had some long time friends just entirely ghost me in the last year as well with no explanation. It feels like I’m surrounded by NPCs. I’ve basically just stopped reaching out to anyone at this point. Outside of my work, literally the only people I talk to are my parents, sister, and my girlfriend. Everyone else seems dead inside. I used to have at least 10 people who I could call on a moments notice and all of those people are gone.

At least here in vancouver, if you go to east hastings almost every single homeless person is either white or indigenous, despite the official data saying something different. I know why indigenous face these issues, but why so many white people? Is it because most of them originated in a rural area and moved here? The homeless demographic looks completely different than the demographic of the city itself.

He mostly fixes domestic trucks but gets japanese cars sometimes too. He rarely takes jobs on euro cars.
