TechnologyWhile I agree that sometimes these leaks are “accidental”, it’s legitimately difficult to keep a secret like this as it gets closer to announce, when more and more people (regulators, retailers, marketers etc) have to be briefed

I have zero evidence to support this, but it could be government contractors saving money by reusing and slightly modifying building plans between actual prisons and schools? My high school building could definitely have been a prison with some adjustments. Total speculation though.

edit: I guess the term was officially coined in 1995, but not common parlance until around 2005, so I suppose I was in the ballpark
