Did I say it was not? The cartel operates mostly in Quebec and Ontario, maple syrup made elsewhere is not being taken advantage of.
I would still eat the stuff if I was given it.
Truly a Canadian story to be getting this much coverage. Another truly Canadian story about the good stuff is the Maple syrup hist, from the maple syrup reserves that Canada has. Big Maple kinda has a cartel as well.
No I think what I had the bots doing was like getting a roll of loonies going to a bunch of Loblaws stores getting all their carts and setting them up in a circle and taking all the loonies out.
Does Loblaws deserve it? Yes, do the shoppers going into the store? Probably, they shouldn’t be shopping at Loblaws! Does the poor worker bee being raked over the coals by the Westons? No probably not.
It is all sun tanning his balls, or whatever he was doing, going to his brain cell.
I do not like cursing, I know I can use words all kinds of words the worst words.
Totally, I am still stuck with some of Apple’s big tech things; iPad, iPhone, and Apple Watch. I do not have the money to replace them. I did however get the warning that my iCloud account will be closed soon which felt so good.
I personally self host a Nextcloud install and a bunch of other things to replace or “arr” things that I used to pay for. It is great being in control of your own stuff.
Just like asbestos removal? It is only dangerous if you breath it in.
I hope this is a TACO moment but if it is not I hope he does not do something even dumber than the poop he has already pulled.
Totally fair, I did not mean to guilt you or anything like that. You are on Lemmy, you obviously know data gets sold and people make money off of you using closed sourced systems, and some open source ones I guess.
Only three other provinces scored any points. New Brunswick scored 168 points, or 42 per cent (22 ESBs, 1.8 per cent of fleet). Ontario and Alberta each scored 101 points, or 25 per cent, with ESBs making up 0.5 per cent of the former’s fleet and just 0.02 per cent of the latter’s.
Was not expecting to see Alberta with any points!
I love the sentiment but who is selling your step data? Unless you have found some way to self host your step counter and get rewards for it some tech company is selling your information and location history.
I will take it off line until I can figure out what is up with it.
I really wish he did
🤖 Trying to grow the community, tired of seeing mostly Ontario and National news only, so I got a robot to post articles! Mods if it gets to be too much just tell me, and I can adjust or slay ☠️ the script.
I like how the EU is moving away from the big tech firms in the US, I am all for that. If I had the money I would get something to replace my iPad and something to replace my iPhone last year. I paid my last iCloud bill a few months ago as I have moved to self hosting almost everything. Discord is the only other closed source tool I use, have not had the heart to close my facebook account “because I may need to talk to a friend” type deal but I have not logged into it anymore than 2 maybe 3 times since March or April of 2025.
I do not drink, but I am not going to say people poisoning themselves with alcohol should be illegal.

Very much so.

My apologies for spamming the group
As the title says my apologies for spamming the group and Lemmy.ca. I have killed the bots and I will do better at posting articles I have read.
I will take it off line until I can figure out what is up with it.
