Well done everyone, thanks for joining us and don't forget to grab your blinkies!

Let's get to the Design Team inspiration - they have some fantastic makes for you today! ......

Katie Yeah Spring is here!  I cannot wait to see my first little lamb. But with this weeks inspiration I thought I would go 3D. I used the digi image from Emma Canning and the backing paper I used for the swirls on the bird cage was from Bon Bon Bells CD . Have fun with this challenge and Keeeeeeeeeeep Crafting Katie xx
Scatty Jan - ohhhh what great fun I had making my project this week - I cut out the wheelbarrow on my portrait and then I used the fantastic CD Bonbon Belles and cut out the flowers and the butterfly.
Bev here with this weeks DT piece a cute little shaped tag. It's made using the oh so versatile Sundae of Seasons CD Rom this is all printed out using one sheet!  All I added from my crafty stash was a button, a bit of sparkle and some raffia around the handle.
Shell-For my "Spring is in the air" card I have made a card in a box, I did cheat a little and used a cutting file to make the box...I'm rubbish at measuring lol....The image is off the Fredericka mini collection and the sentiments are from the Fairy Flutterfly stamp sets (half price at the moment too)
And here is a photo from the side. The layers on the box have been embossed and inked with distress ink...I went with yellow for this challenge cause it always reminds me of the daffs in spring.
Susan - For my challenge card I have used Papers and an image from the new Work and Play 1 CD
I used Graph. It markers to colour the image,( List of Graph'Its used can be found on my blog )
Looking forwards to seeing all your entries.
Patty - I made a Birthday card using papers from Candy Doodles and the Girl is from Sugar Daisy I accent her colors using color pencils, then I stamped the flower from Fairy Flutterfly Stamps on pink and yellow CS cut them and put them together and added one Doodle Dewdrop to each of the flowers. And finished my card with the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Stamp Doodles Rubbers stamps set. I had so much fun making this card and  love how it turned out.

Ruth: I've gone literally this week and made an exploding box with springy MUM letters! The papers are from Pen and Paper Circle issue 9 and I've used a Sizzix die to cut the letters and then added them to some craft wire which has been very much glued underneath the rolled flowers. I've added some clear doodle drop gems to the centres for extra sparkle - and they are reduced in the shop too!

I'm sure you 'll agree the inspiration from the team this week is just stunning! We'll see you back here next week, thanks for joining us! x

You can see the winners of our last challenge from Week 6 at the bottom of this post, but let's see what the team have made for you this week...

Karon - I decided to use the lemonade stand from the In the Garden section of the Studio 12 Picknix Collection 1CD.  I made a shaped card by sizing the pre-coloured digi of the lemonade stand, layered it up to add dimension.  The boy and girl pre-coloured images, and the sentiment, are from the Sundae of Seasons CD.
Zoe - I instantly thought of the colour palette when I saw this challenge so decided to colour an image I hadn't attempted before, this Daisy Lady (as I call her) is from the gorgeous Double Sprinkle of Kraft CD. I coloured her with a mix of markers including the fabulous Graph It's. Once finished I decided to keep it simple. I added a few flowers and some candi. I wanted to keep this card for any occasion so didn't put a sentiment on it deliberately.
Sally - For this week's project I have made my step-granddaughter's birthday card. I took the image from Dollie Daydreams goes East CD Rom and coloured her with Graph'it markers. Then I took a backing paper and the alphabet into my graphic programme and made the card base. I then matted it onto black cardstock. I then matted the image on black cardstock also. Die cut out some cherry blossom and branches and then printed a sentiment scroll.  I love how this has turned out. I hope she loves it too.
Asha - I'm using a girlie rubber stamp called "Gracie"  from Polka Doodle's Fairy Flutterby series for my Sugar and Spice project. I coloured her with Graph It and Promarkers. I stamped the butterfly from the Gracie set on vellum, heat embossed it in white and used it as wings for Gracie. The background paper is from the Bonbon Belles Double CD and the flower is from the Dollie Daydream Girl Talk CD. And voila! A sweet birthday card for a little girl.
JAN - I used one of my favourite Polkadoodles CDs - 'Candy Doodles' to make my card this week. The Sugar & Spice theme made me think of sugared almonds - hence the colour scheme. The little girl is coloured to match using my Promarkers and I made the tickets, using a blank one and adding my own wording to match the theme.
Alethea - When I think of sugar and spice I automatically think of yummy cakes and slices. So I made this card using one giant cupcake from the Cherryblossom Lane cd collection and Dollie Daydream - Birthday digistamp which I coloured with tria markers! I then just added a few embellishments to finish off the card and the Polka Doodles birthday wishes sentiment from the Sensational Sentiments stamp set.
Kerrie - Wow I have really enjoyed the Theme this week - 'Sugar & Spice' - for this I chose to decorate a Notebook to make myself a Recipe Book and decided to use the 'Sundae of Seasons' CDrom as I really love all the baking themed Embellishments and the Ragdoll charaters. The only things that were added not from the CDrom were Mirror Board & Gems from my Stash and the Notebook of course. I coloured the Digi Image from CDrom using alcohol markers.
Claire C - I've used precoloured decoupage images from one of my favourite Polkadoodles CDs, Candy Doodles, I've added glitter, glossy accents and faux pearls to the cupcakes and added some of Nikky's fab ticket sentiments to finish off
Fantastic inspiration from the team as always!

Our Week 6 Randomly chosen winner is

 Polkadoodles goodie Bag worth £50!
Woohoo!! This will include all sorts of stash including dies, cd's, stamps and who knows what else!

We are playing catchup with our new rules since changing the entry dates so we don't have a winner to announce this week but we hope you'll join in this great challenge and join us again next week too.

Don't forget our other challenge at Digi Choosday is on the go for you to enter and also make sure you head over to the Studio 12 where we have THE most amazing inspiration for you this week!

So let's get to the Design Team's fantastic inspiration for this week....

Ruth: I've gone way back to Paper Boutique Vol 3 to make my sample for this week. I've used the A5 template, printed all the elements, cut them out and layered up, adding punched stars and ribbon to close the card

Katie Ohhh Sugar and Spice and all things yummy. But my cupcake has No calories! I made this cupcake pin cushion with papers from Pick n Mix Collection One CD and the Flower was made using the Love and Cherish CD. The flowers round the outside of the cake was made with the background papers from the Pick n Mix Collection One cd then punched out with a flat back pearl for the centre. The stand was made using my electronic cutting machine.  Have fun and Keeeeeeeeeep Crafting xoxo

Bev here, for my project I went with a shaped card using a template from the brilliant Paper Boutique Vol 1 CD Rom it's so easy to use and the end result looks fab, I'm sure you'll agree.

Lou: I've gone for the traditional "Sugar and Spice" for my project and have made a baby card to welcome a new baby girl. The papers and bear image are from a Sundae of Seasons CD (Spring section) with the remainder of everything else being made using a plethera of Studio 12 stamps. Full details of everything used can be found on my blog HERE.

Scatty Jan For my sugar and spice project I went with a birthday card - I used the very cute Cory from tte Pretty Tuff CD - the little train is also from the CD as is the sentiment - I coloured in using Graph'it Markers along with promarkers and I am so pleased how well they work together - I normally struggle with boy's cards but since seeing this CD I will not struggle again xx

Susan  For my project this week I have used everything from the Sugarplum daisy CD
this is an absolutely fabulous jam packed CD and the backing papers are to die for, amazing sentiments ,backgrounds ,digi stamps and lots more

Patty - Ohhh Sugar and Spice. All papers and images are from the  Sugarplum daisy CD collection.
added the two contrasting mini bow, inked the edge of the image and as a finished touch the purple rhinestones at the right bottom.

Nikky...My interpretation of Sugar and Spice is the girly theme so I've gone for a Tomboy-ish image on my creation this week, giving me the best of both worlds! (or maybe I cheated a little haha!)...I've used papers from the Picknix 1 Collection together with the Rainy Days digistamp which you can either find on it's own here or in the Girl Talk collection. Head over to my blog to see how I made this card and find out more...

So there's our inspiration this week!
Remember you have until 7th March to enter this one and there's that big £50 prize up for grabs so make sure you're in it to win it!

We look forward to seeing all your great creations as always and we'll see you here again next week!

Wk 50 - Polkadoodles and Studio 12 Challenge - Anything Goes!

So can you believe how close we are - how many sleeps?? Oh my word it's crazy!! We hope you're all organised and pressied out and preparing for the big day but just in case you're not we thought we'd bring you some amazing inspiration that might help you make your Christmas table look stunning this week...

Our challenge for you at home is
Anything Goes
but the Design Team challenge this week is
Make Something for the Christmas Table

So - scroll to the bottom of the post to see if you are a winner from our Week 48 challenge and in the meantime have a snoop at the fantastic creative makes the team are bringing you this week!...

You have until 22nd December to enter this challenge so we hope you can find time to show us your lovely makes! The winner of this challenge will win a special Christmas Bonus stash of £30 of stash and our Top 3 faves will also each win a prize too!

Ruth: I've used a church candle that I've had for longer than I care to remember!  I've used the decoupage elements from A Home for Christmas and printed off a sheet of vellum from Here Comes Christmas and added it behind the decoupage.  I curled the images over the table edge so they didn't stick out too much!
Anjie - For my project I have made some place cards.I used papers and embellishments from the A Home for Christmas CD Collection. I layered 2 papers in a graphics program and added a black border to make the top one pop out. I added the names in the program and then printed them out and printed out some of the trees to cut out and put in place with 3D foam.

Lizzie Oh I got so excited at this challenge so I made two projects !!! For my first project ....... Every year I make peppermint creams to have with coffee after dinner, so I thought .......... how about something to serve them in. I used the A Home for Christmas CD. Using the embellishment of Santa flying in his sleigh and blowing it up in my graphics program so I had the sleigh as big as I needed it. The paper for the bottom is also from the CD cut as a strip adhered to either side of the sleigh to make a place to hold my peppermint creams ! I added some tissue paper to make it look glam and of course I glittered the sleigh stars and words and Santa with my Stickles !

My second project was VERY quick and simple. I made these Christmas trees from papers from the A Home for Christmas CD I drew triangles and folded the paper ! I used a heart from the embellishments on the CD, adhered it to a cocktail stick and placed it down the top of the tree !! I thought they would look great in the middle of the table amongst the dishes stood in groups, but they also look great around my sleigh too !!!

Bev I"m really struggling to get into the Christmas spirit this year so have needed to find things to make that are quick, fun and functional. So I came up with place settings for my table. I adore the little penguins on Here Comes Christmas CD Rom so used them,  a backing paper, my graphics programme a little glitter and the off gem. A very quick make to add a special touch to the Christmas table.

JAN - Here's my take on the Christmas table decorations using papers and a sentiment from the 'Angelberry Christmas CD' (which is currently available for just £7.00 at our on-line store).  The Tree is made from paper rosettes (using a cutting die) and the cracker is made using a template which I found on the internet.

Patty- For my inspiration this week I've made some Place Card set to put on every sits on the table when we sit down to enjoy our Holiday Dinner. I  printed the notes using paper from the Angelberry cd, and printed an cut out the Xmas tree from Here Comes Christmas added the cut out start on top and voula you have this amazing and easy to make placecard.

Shell- For my inspiration this week I have decorated a candle to put on the table when we sit down to our turkey and trimmings. I simply printed our my fave angel from the Angelberry cd, added some ribbon and a flower ribbon trim and a snowflake cut on my cameo machine.

Haven't they done a great job?

The winner of our Week 48 Sketch challenge is

Closing date for the challenge is Sunday 27 October at 12noon GMT and don't forget to link your actual blog post so we can come and visit you!

Ruth:  Something a little bit different from me - I went for an unusual fold card and made this!  Use papers from A Home For Christmas along with some ribbon, half pearls I found in my stash and some die cuts.  The sentiment ticket is also from the cd.

Shell- I decide to go for a very simple but effective Christmas card this week.  I have a lot of cards to make this year and I need something that would be quick but also look good too. I think this fits the job nicely.
I used some papers and a sentiment off  A Home For Christmas CD

JAN - I chose to make a 'Three Panel Screen Card' for my folded design, using the fabulous 'A Home for Christmas CD'.  The baubles are also cut and folded to give a lovely 3D effect.

Anjie -  I decided to do a gatefold easel for this challenge for something a little bit different.I have used images and papers from the A Home for Christmas CD Collection. The images are coloured with Graph'It Markers and slightly distressed with a distress ink. I've added some spider web, flowers and buttons. There's some real fun images in this collection, it's not all about people, although there are some in it, it's more about houses and Christmas Characters, so there is something for everyone.

Lizzie - I used the wonderful A Home For Christmas CD for the papers and embellies. I printed a piece of card both sides and then printed a template I have had for ages on one side and cut out and adhered it together. I did the shoes papers opposite to each other as I thought they would make great place settings on my Christmas table, alternating them along the table. I printed and cut out lots of holly, used gems to bling up.
One shoe I added Stickles glitter glue, I didn't want the shoes the same ! I added some chocolates in a bag with ribbon and printed names, adding holly again.
This is what the shoes look like empty .........NO I didn't eat the chocolates .......... honest !!!

Kim  I've made an envelope gift bag (a tutorial for this is below the challenge post) using papers, topper and sentiment from the A Home for Christmas cd
Bev Oh this weeks challenge was so much fun! I made a never ending, kinetic card, using papers and embellies from A Home For Christmas I just added a bit of sparkle to make it pop.
Patty I used the wonderful A Home For Christmas CD  to make this cute boys and girls Christmas tags! I use lots of tags at Christmas.  I printed the cute girls and boy images on white cardstock and cut them, then aged the white tags, cut a piece of white border and when all the pieces were cut I adhered it all together. I added the red ribbon and tied a small bow with the twine to add with the brown button.
Hopefully the DT have inspired you to make your project for this weeks challenge and we cannot wait for you to share it with us. Please use Mr Linky to add your details so we can come over and see your project in full.

Now, before we even get started we have some great news for you all - from today's challenge onwards we shall be picking a RANDOM WINNER each week to get one of our great prizes! WOOHOO!! We're doing this as a massive thanks to you all for entering each week and we think it's much fairer that everyone gets an equal chance to win some lovely goodies, no matter how great your technique for colouring is! So from now on, if you enter then you're in the draw! We will still choose our favourite top 3 as well and they will receive a little prize too. IN ADDITION, you can now enter as many challenges as you wish and are no longer restricted to 10!

So, next week's random winner will receive a copy of our brand new Christmas Collection Home for Christmas...

Before we share what the challenge for this week is, I need to announce the winners from challenge 36 which was Significant Birthday, and the top three are:

1st Place - Wisienor - please use the code PD1W36a34 to claim your prize which is a massive DigiWorld Download bundle!
2nd Place - Debbi - please grab your blinkie from the sidebar
3rd Place - Cindy - please grab your blinkie from the sidebar

Right, onto the challenge, the theme is:

Candy Colours

We want you to show us your loveliest colour combo's which remind you of Sweet Combinations!

The winner of this challenge will get the Home for Christmas collection shown above and our Top 3 will all receive a download.  Please don't forget our rules - they are at the bottom of this post otherwise you won't be in with a chance to win!

Onto the Design Teams creations!

Ruth:  I've kept it rather clean and simple this week!  I've a stack of little envelopes that I need to use up as I bought them in the January sale as they were really really cheap - 4p (although they did come with little Christmas cards that were really naff - I did only buy them for the envelopes!) for 20 or 25 in a pack.  So I indulged and bought rather a few.  So, this brings me to these little cuties - I made 3 cards from a sheet of A4 card and printed one of the images from the fab Bonbon Belles straight onto the card and embellished with half pearls, stickles, embroidery thread and a button.  Really quick and simple to make!

Shell- For my candy colours I went with the chocolate and lime section of the Bonbon Belles CD and as I love this sentiment I used a pre coloured butterfly image.  I decided to keep it as a cas card, I just added a sentiment from the same CD and  a few pearls, the corners started life as just metal silver corners and I covered them in frantage.

JAN - I decided to make a scrapbook layout this week using the fabulous 'Bonbon Belles CD'. I couldn't resist this picture and the 'Marshmallow Fluff' collection was just perfect for the job.  I used six different papers and a couple of gorgeous little bows which is just a taster - there is so much more available and five other collections to choose from as well!

Anjie - After looking through the fabby Bonbon Belles Double CD Collection for ages I finally decided on the images to use and came up with this card
I've made a little scene with 4 of the images and added some die cuts.

Lizzie - I thought I would make these bright and cheerful gift tags. I used Bonbon Belles CD for my papers and my embellies. I used my Stickles to glitter around all the edges. When it was dry I placed my sentiment from the CD on the middle then decorated with butterfly and flowers and of course gems ! Its my turn to do the tutorial this week so go check it out !!

Bev There is so much choice on Bonbon Belles it took me a while to decide what to make this week! I opted for the Apple Lagoon section and in my opinion you can't go far wrong with a butterfly! I used a ready made topper but edited it using my graphics programme. I added one of the sentiments and I was able to layer up the butterflies and glitter for extra sparkle. I just added a bit of ribbon from my crafty stash

.

Patty:  I made this card specially for my Mother's Birthday this past monday. All papers, butterflies, fence and sentiment are from I  BonBon Belles CD.  I just ink the edges and combine the colors and arrange the butterflies to make the look feels cute and simple.  I know that she would love it... 'cause she loves flowers.

Lou: I used the Bonbon Belles CD too to make my card and have wanted an excuse to use the adorabe cherry images for ages and this weeks theme fits in beautifully. Cheeries have been placed on to a doily and embellished with a crochet flower, button & ribbon. Sentiment ticket is also from the CD. Card finally finished with some brads for added colour. The only sad thing about my card is that I really wanted to glaze the cherries but can't find my glaze. That can only mean one thing .... I need to tidy up!

Now it's your turn and you have until 12noon on Sunday 29th September to enter and Good Luck!

We have a few little rules which makes our life a lot easier when we come visiting your blog:

1. Please follow the challenge theme!
2. Please link your blog post and not your blog address with the linky tool - this saves us from searching your blog for your entry
3. And please, no back-linking to previous posts - these will be disregarded from our top three voting
4. If you have word verification on your blog it really does slow us down when leaving comments - please consider turning off word verification especially as the comment moderation has a spam section.
