No, it’s one of those things everyone assumes or guesses. When it’s confirmed by someone by name that has insider knowledge, the theory carries a lot more weight. Enough to alter stock prices, if it’s damning enough. Or in this case further hurt public perception, which hurts revenue.

It’s interesting that when a company fires a bunch of employees just to increase quarterly profit, the employees no longer feel any duty to keep the company secrets. Which hurts company profits even more.
Good.
Oops, don’t want that. Could you take two more pictures, I’ve from the left and one from the right? Unless that red box someone drew got it.
Is that an oil cap in the right of the picture? Just in front of the duct taped intake. It’s a black cap with amber writing on it, so that’s what I suspect. If it goes directly to the engine, that’s it.

362·5 days agoAlcatraz held people tried and convicted in a city of law. Auschwitz held political prisoners and enemies of the ruling party that never saw a trial, had no rights, were treated poorly, and died often.
It’s more accurate to go with the latter.

2·11 days agoI’d rather vote for someone based on their policy. If they’re attractive but want to destroy our institutions further or sell out, it’s a worthless metric. Elections are too important for BS filler.
I don’t appreciate some of you being so flippant with one of the greatest minds of our time, Tim Allen. I, for one, appreciate him weighing in on the toughest questions we wrestle with.
He’s like a modern day Descartes!
AI. Look at any of the patches, the number of missing stars on the flag, of the dude on the right’s leg that melds into a tree.

2·16 days agoThose do, too. I think the article should say that the gas prices are what pisses off the MAGA cultists, because it directly hurts them more than the groups they don’t like.
My MAGA neighbors are more pissed that he started a war after campaigning on not starting wars, more than any other reason listed like gas or fascists killing citizens. Which is a wild take, but I love in Oklahoma.
I’m trying to move to a blue state. There be no shelter here.

5·16 days agoI had to have a tendon reattached, and that means cutting the skin to get to it. The problem is that as the skin heals, it attaches to the tendon very easily. The surgeon has to cut your skin in a Z-shape to lessen the amount of scar tissue along the tendon’s path. Even then, the little bit that does tries to latch on.
So you have to constantly work at it to get it to loosen, and let the tendon glide. That means moving it, vibrating it, pulling it. It sucks. It hurts. For years. But the alternative is to freeze that joint and limit your range for the rest of your life.
Not having scaring would be amazing.
Or it means “I see you watch Fox News on a loop and cheer for the deaths of others, but I want to get through this dinner without a scene” because holidays mean landmines instead of family.

So were Redditors 15-20 years ago, though. This place is exactly like the old Reddit ecosystem. Heavily focused on programming, Linux, and Star Trek. The smaller subs for politics, culture, news, etc take longer to build up.
It’s definitely from Game of Thrones, but I don’t know why anyone would pay 300 bucks for stuff from that disaster.
I had a coworker that started to hate his job and feel trapped. We all did, but he was more vocal about it to his friends. He said:
“I think sometimes, what if I didn’t take that turn on the highway and just kept going?”.
Well one day he didn’t come in. Emailed the boss he quit later. I like to think he just kept driving on to a better future.
I remember this as a kid, too! My mom said she wore a metal bra in a music video. We didn’t have MTV so I didn’t know who Madonna was, even. So I still had a bunch of questions that could’ve been solved with a Google search, had it existed.
I don’t think I got this joke until maybe a decade later when the Internet was a thing and I saw a picture or a meme or something.

Not unlike Luigi is accused, except he’s innocent.

In T2: Judgement Day, when Miles Dyson has to turn two keys simultaneously to open the vault to get the Terminator prototypes, they go
3-2-1-turn and then AFTER that, they turn. How many times would people have messed that up, learning such a weird pattern? That’s totally unintuitive!
