Another unfortunate fact is that there are a lot of right wing people in IT. That’s something I’ve learned in national conferences. I always hang out in places like this so I had no idea how bad it was, but at least 50% of the people I’ve met at IT conferences were right leaning. There’s only 1 on my team. 2 if you count the libertarian.

Again, we shouldn’t support the murder of anyone or anything even if they deserve it. Regardless, I won’t judge anyone who wants people like Trump and Charlie Kirk to disappear. Many of us are just fighting for our right to exist. Republicans hate minorities, trans, gay, and anyone different from them and they are using ICE to attack anyone they deem different.

I’d much prefer if Trump were removed from office dishonorably and we appointed someone who could return sanity to the US. However, I won’t judge anyone wishing death on those that want them dead and have the power to make it so.

To be honest, I understand being happy that someone who spread so much hate was murdered. This is a person who vehemently believed that gay and trans people shouldn’t exist. I completely understand the hatred of this man, but he is a human being and a sentient being. We really shouldn’t be supporting the murder of other humans even if we hate their views. I will concede however that that may be the only way out of the mess we’re in.

There are more of us than there are of them and yet we’re still under the control of those that hate us. If they won’t play by the rules then violence is the only option we have left. I’d much prefer the peaceful option if it were an option, and I hope that sanity will return to the US soon.

It depends. What is the footage of? If you’re watching someone get attacked, murdered, and/or raped and you don’t feel sick to your stomach I’d say something is wrong with you. If you’re watching a city being attacked and you don’t see casualties of war I’d understand if you don’t sympathize because you’re only seeing buildings being destroyed not the humans that are being affected. It’s hard for a lot of people to empathize unless they’ve gone through something similar. It’s still not great that you can’t put 2 and 2 together, but it’s not abnormal.

I will always die on the hill claiming Dreamcast as the best console. It was so far ahead of it’s time and it had so many great games. I would kill for Sega to release a new console, but I imagine many of the people who helped create the Dreamcast went on to work for Nintendo. I’ve always considered the Wii and Wii U to be the true successors to the Dreamcast and I’ve wondered if they were created with the help of people who made the Dreamcast.

Looks like you’re right. It looks like they did consider making Ashley and Kaiden bi so the VAs did record lines for both. I always thought he was bi because there are options to flirt and Bioware did make bi characters earlier in Jade Empire.

Out here in Maine it’s pretty common to have to travel for work. All of the jobs are in or around Portland, but you can’t fucking afford to live where you work so many people have to live further north and travel south for work everyday. It’s the ideal environment for remote work, but fucking boomers run everything so they expect you in the office everyday.

I grow out my nails for acoustic guitar so I technically always have a weapon for eye gouging. After blinding the beast I’d go after their throat as hard and as many times as I can while trying to keep distance where possible. It would never work on obvious human killing machines like tigers, gorrilas, bears, etcetera, but it might be helpful on a wolf or anything I can get my arms around. Internal hemorrhoids make sense, although nothing seems to trigger it and I don’t feel any pain. Most of the time I don’t even realize until I look in the toilet. It happens so randomly. The doctors initially thought it was bacterial ulcers because they didn’t feel anything during the examinations. I’ve never had a colonoscopy only rectal examinations.
