Maybe a hot take, but M$ is, imo, nowhere near as bad as Google or, god forbid, Meta.
Might I ask what’s worse than Google? And then what’s worse than that?
That makes sense, I just thought it was interesting that the pay gap was for transgender women. I wonder if the same applies to both non passing trans women and passing trans women?
To be clear, and sorry if this is a dumb question, when you and the study say “trans(gender) women” does it mean MTF (born male, transitioned to female), or FTM (born female, transitioned to male)?
It’s my understanding that the gender after transgender ____ (e.g. transgender women) referred to their current gender.
Ok, I see you are in fact not a bot. My mistake. In future I’ll avoid jumping to such sudden conclusions. I hope you enjoy your stay on Lemmy!
As for the AI image… Yeah, you should probably avoid those here. Some communities are more welcoming than others, but generally AI is quite disliked in the privacy community. It also makes you look very bot-like when you use one as your first ever post.
If Chromium is the best browser for android, why are you calling IronFox “the privacy king”?
I’d argue chromium based browsers are significantly better than gecko simply for security. Obviously Chrome is bad, but Vanadium and other such browsers are significantly better than any firefox remixes.
As for my claim that you’re a bot, see my earlier reply, and you’re brand new.
I dunno, maybe you’re a person, but the way your post is written, and the theme of the screenshot, screams AI.
Happy cake day

3·vor 26 TagenYeah, I agree. I just wanted to call them out because FUD has never once helped the privacy community, and I’m tired of people strawmanning big tech and making the comm look bad.
After trying to find some examples, I’ve determined that my previous statement is incorrect. It seems the site has expanded by a considerable amount, and the complaints I had (e.g. Tor was ranked something like C while Google was ranked B) no longer apply.
Regardless, I think having someone else summarize a legally binding contract is still a horrible idea in so many ways.

3·vor 26 TagenThere is, AFAIK, zero proof to back up your claim.

35·vor 26 TagenBecause that’s even worse than adding age verification.

23·vor 26 TagenThey kinda were. Don’t get me wrong, still entirely by choice, but more and more countries and states are forcing OS level age verification.

5·vor 27 TagenI don’t know how many scrappers are on Lemmy, but I’d suggest obscuring the link a little bit to avoid any bots claiming near instantaneously.
Well for starters he died 25 years ago…
My previous statement is outdated (see replies). I still think TLDRs are inherently wrong, but ToS;DR seems to have improved significantly.
The website is extremely opinionated IMO, which just goes to show how important it is to read the ToS and not a TLDR.
