“Coming to the right side of history”. He’s spewing the same conspiracy bullshit he always has and always will. Any pattern will match with others at various points. It doesn’t mean it’s suddenly a different pattern.

I’m really tired of the “Noted bigot and/or idiot said something different than they usually do, that anybody with more than two braincells already knew!” headlines, and I resent them being posted on any community as “legitimate” news. It’s bullshit. Their comments are bullshit. They’re still the same bigoted idiot they were yesterday. This isn’t useful information. At best it’s ragebait, but it’s more often just enabling/normalizing their shit behavior.

One of my biggest gripes with the Guardians of the Galaxy Gunn-ification. In the comics, the characters are actually competent, if uncouth and often anti-heroes. The movies turn them all into bumbling idiots, and Gamora, a no-bullshit, “will walk through a star, burn her skin off, then knock you out afterwards” badass, is a “soft-on the inside” love interest that gets fridged for not not one, but two guys. That scene with Thanos in Infinity War still pisses me off.

That “highest resolution image of the moon” user on Reddit is gonna have to find a new gimmick.
