Not surprised Apple’s market share is improving.
I bought a Pixel 10 and Google’s software quality control is laughable. Ridiculously simple things just don’t work properly. For instance Google has broken Bluetooth for some common devices, USB won’t connect at all to some computers, and audio players are killed to save battery even when the phone is plugged in.
Never thought I’d consider an Apple but an Iphone my will be my next purchase.
And giving tax cuts to the wealthiest people on the planet.
Sounds like their suppression system was seriously undersized. I’d guess it was sized for regulation compliance rather than for what is actually needed for a warehouse filled with paper products.

I’ve had occasional problems with z-wave devices that stop responding. The fix has required power cycling them at the breaker box, then re-interviewing and rebuilding routes. Hope that works in your case.
Have you tried re-interviewing the devices as a first step?

After the horror of watching an older friend succumb to early onset Alzheimer’s and literally becoming an inanimate object with a pulse, IMO the risks of these drugs are meaningless. The real horror is forcing these people to continue living when they can no longer speak, eat or even be aware of where they are. It is utterly cruel.
If my friend had realized how she was going to end up she would have taken a one-way trip to Switzerland a decade before she finally died.

For years there were opinion pieces in publications about how much better renting is than buying. Financial experts made the case that the expense of purchasing and maintenance weren’t worth any benefits of ownership, especially in the long term. After dealing with big rent increases, insane landlords, and apartments being shown while I was living in them I wasn’t convinced. When adding in the relative stability in the of costs of ownership I always thought those experts were full of crap.
Turns out none of those articles took sudden increases in property values and rent into account. Trying to rent an apartment for someone on a moderate fixed income in my area has become damn near impossible. Rents have gone up ~60% in 5 years far exceeding the COL increases most people see from retirement income or even the raises they may be getting from their employers if they’re working.
Buying a home was one of the best financial decisions I’ve ever made.
Let’s see here… Billions paid for illegal tariffs, massive increases in food prices, a collapse of international tourism, reduction in all travel due to the refusal to fund TSA, massive DOGE layoffs, further layoffs and closures of multiple government agencies, multiple government shutdowns, fuel price increases we’re just seeing the start of, double digit electricity rate increases, doubling and tripling of healthcare costs for millions of Americans, and international boycotts of American products. That’s just some of the dumpster fire Trump and the Grand Old Pedophiles have provided us. Too bad there’s not a way to include Trump’s misery factor.

Battery charge limit will allow you to set it to stop charging at partial charge. Doing so greatly increases the battery lifespan and can reduce possible fire risk even further while still leaving far more backup time than a UPS would provide.
See if that laptop model allows you to limit the battery charge. If the battery’s still holding a charge, isn’t swollen, and is kept at room temperature you have about a 1 in a million chance of a battery fire.

I spend lots of time in Mexico and generic drugs are mostly dirt cheap. Name brand drugs that don’t yet have generic equivalents are a different story. They may be 1/3 or less than their U.S. price and affordable for Americans, but hundreds of dollars per month is still out of reach for most Mexicans.
