Could it be that they decided to escalate beyond Belgium because they didn’t reach the necessary impact in Belgium itself?

I still have my doubts about whether this is not a fake. Except for that bio page, I cannot find any confirmation in English. It is custom that there is a statement from the university on the reasons why and a video of the event where the title was conferred. There is nothing of the sort, which is extremely odd.

Thanks. It worked in the end. The syntax was not clear. However I want to move my data to the EU. That’s why I tried eurosky.social (and it worked). But I am still a bit perplexed on them. It’s less European than one might think, as they are funded by Free Our Feeds, which relies on a U.S. fiscal sponsor (Exchange Point Institute, a U.S. 501©(3) nonprofit). I tried getting more transparency but they remain rather vague.

I moved over to Eurosky. The process is a bit convoluted and instructions can be improved. But you keep all your data and your history. The advantage is that your data are hosted in the EU. Nothing changes in the use: you still access Bluesky via its website or its apps, but now with a eurosky.social account.
