about

The Omega Point (Part One) is Quaid’s 5th studio LP.

A suite of instrumental jams that shift between tempo and mood whilst maintaining a consistent raw and soulful feeling throughout. Featuring standout performances and collaborations from keyboardist Alex M Sound and bassist Giles Williams.

Less dense than his last LP, 'The Omega Point' has an immediacy to it that talks to the turbulent, fluctuating nature of our times - both as a reaction to and an antidote from - wrapped around a recurring theme of how (modern) culture is continually messing with our perception of reality.

Ultimately though, this is hopeful music that imagines a (possible) future where technology plays a positive, existential role in our lives, creating new paradigms for the human experience.
