side switch I like how this album is no longer only 4x4, sometimes polyrhythmic or electro, while keeping same sound palette. Would be great to have an Elektron project included for a track or two :) Favorite track: Cluster Merge.

about

This is the eighth chapter in the re:fraction dub techno journey: Cluster Merge.

After several months of dedicated work, I can now proudly present this eight-track album, which was created using an uncompromising, minimalist setup: only the Elektron Digitone II and Digitakt. The title, Cluster Merge, reflects the foundational concept of the project: taking disparate, evolving sound elements and seamlessly joining them into one unified, cohesive sonic whole, delivered in the signature style of the re:fraction series.

Following the established tradition of the journey, this release is presented as a single, unbroken continuous mix. The eight tracks flow together, each one subtly dissolving and building into the next. This unbroken, 66-minute experience invites the listener to surrender entirely to the collective, hypnotic atmosphere, delivering a deep dive into shimmering delays, cavernous reverbs, and tightly locked rhythms from start to finish.
