The US has been the main villain ever since they inherited the role from the British. None of this is surprising if you’ve been paying attention.
It actually still exists in people too, it’s just rare and treatable with antibiotics.

So, how fast would you have to go to get green?
Ok never mind I looked it up. 197,640,000 km/hr

My browser tab collection doesn’t help.
Now add a German Shepherd labelled “Firefox” 😝
You don’t have to look at everything in terms of individual responsibility. We can clearly see that the injustices caused by transatlantic slavery, and imperialism more broadly, are very much still here. I think it would be nice to try to remedy this.
Of course, it’s non-binding, and the countries that should probably be paying reparations just happen to have all abstained (except for the rogue USA of course, voting against) so I don’t expect anything will happen. But it’s a nice idea.
“Immediately after power plants and infrastructure in our country are targeted, vital infrastructure as well as energy and oil infrastructure across the entire region will be considered legitimate targets and will be irreversibly destroyed.”
There’s the “very good and productive conversation” right there 🤣
Umm excuse me, “corruption” is offensive, the correct term is “lobbying”.
It’s “a democracy” in that the rich old white dude at the top gets swapped out every few years.
But any analysis of government policy vs what regular people want shows exactly no correlation. This isn’t even new. Sure it’s gotten even more egregious lately, but it has always been an oligarchy or plutocracy at best.
I think if anyone is going to use a nuclear weapon, it’ll be israel.
The US can pull out, president man-baby can write a fanfiction about himself winning the war, and all his thugs can turn their attention to some other debacle, but israel will always be within range of Iranian missiles.
Without US support (and many Americans, even some of the really evil ones, have had enough of israel at this point) it could end up facing an existential threat. They’ve shown again and again that they have absolutely no regard for human life, and they don’t even seem to consider blowback most of the time. I believe israel going “Samson option” is by far the most likely nuclear scenario.
Lol, the US isn’t democratic.
So it seemed safer, but went down hill, like as in less engaging, more boring, that sort of thing?
Y’all need to get rid of this guy asap.
I didn’t feel like writing a long comment, but yes, good explanation! We really need to reign in these companies because their products are fundamentally untrustworthy.
People have a natural tendency to personify things they know are not people. I’ve seen studies involving (physical) robots, and the robot says it’s sad or something, and people feel bad for it, even though it’s literally just a piece of plastic with some wires inside that looks vaguely humanoid. I don’t think this is going to change in the foreseeable future.
This is complete insanity. They clearly have no idea how to implement effective safeguards.
Imagine eating a slice of watermelon the size of your couch?
I wish nukes had never been invented, but also, if I was Iran, I would be making so many nukes.
…which is exactly why you can’t have ‘em!
So it turns out they’re not done shilling for Linux.
