For awhile I’ve been wondering when the first AI-caused mass casualty event would happen. I think it was probably when that school full of little girls got blown up in Iran. There should definitely be liability for absolutely anyone enabling such grave mistakes.

As was the style at the time apparently. It’s a fucked up story all around

I’ve heard that gasoline also tends to burn rapidly. The Mythbusters usually had to add gas to make their explosions look cooler

Another thing to know about is that most of the Supreme Court justices are Catholics

No, that’s not really accurate. Motorola has in the past offered the “Android One” option which was mostly debloated from the factory. I had one and it was the best factory version of Android I’ve seen, very little bullshit included.

Plus when you install GrapheneOS, ALL of that bullshit goes away for good.

Yep I’ve never had a twitter account, and thus have never had any arguments on twitter, and have not been forced to see their many promoted nazi posts. But of course I’ve seen lots of twitter screenshots circulated as ragebait or whatnot.

Yes a cheap phone with GrapheneOS would potentially fly off the shelves

Yes it is clear they are not fit for human consumption and not intended to cure or treat any disease

Wonko the Sane, living outside the asylum

Surprised they didn’t put “anti-Pedophile” on that list

No need for them to place the words “Cover-up” in quotes when it is a clear and obvious and ongoing cover-up. Just say what it is and let them sue if they dare.

No, not really. Their name “homeland security” has always been a little too nazi-1984-ish sounding for me. The Federal Emergency Management people and programs are sometimes useful though.

I guess the war industry and the oil industry are in business together. Oil wars keep the oil flowing and the weaponry dollars flying

Hunting rifles like that are usually going to make a small entrance wound and larger exit wound. I haven’t seen exactly what happened to kirk because I don’t like to watch people die. But I can say from experience with deer hunting that it’s plausible for that rifle to make a narrow wound channel through a person, while being extremely deadly to them, not making a huge wound outside.

Basically those high powered rounds are made to penetrate well through large animals, tougher than humans. Expanding and deforming of the round is intended to begin well after penetration, unlike the way handgun bullets are designed.

So I think it’s totally possible that Robinson did it even though the bullet isn’t able to be matched

I have read somewhere that the whole “bullet forensics” process is mostly pseudoscience anyway. A quick search found this article:

https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/the-field-of-firearms-forensics-is-flawed/

If a shell casing wasn’t ejected on the scene (like with a bolt-action not cycled) then all they would have to analyze is the what’s-left-of-bullet which is possibly just a mess of lead and copper. May or may not have rifling marks left on it
