I enjoyed The Long Walk for the same reason. Very faithful adaptation of my favourite Bachman book, although I am hoping for a director’s cut. I didn’t see any trailers before watching so I was very surprised and pleased to see who the actor for The Major was. The interactions between all the kids is just great.

I just love going back to old strips and seeing how concepts and characters were introduced. Quincy isn’t on Hobbes’ level of animal companion to the comic strip kid, but he was important to me when I was reading this comic every day.

Sorry, wasn’t being sarcastic. I was trying to remember some of my favourite comic strips when I was at the library recently. I knew I was missing a few but couldn’t recall them and I haven’t picked up a newspaper for the comics in years. Pearls Before Swine is one of the strips I was trying to remember, and I haven’t had it cross my path in a while.
