I also had some issues with hyprland and steam. That’s why i changed back to KDE. Luke made a great choice to leave hyprland for a later day.

If this will be fixed i have nothing against Valve. This lootbox gamble situation is really the only bad thing I can think of that steam does. For the rest Valve feels pro-consumer.

I saw teamspeak but hasn’t look much into it, revolt doesn’t seem to have screenshare. And element looks the most interesting i found so far. They al heavily rely on discords layout, not sure if that is a pro.

I hope it, so my friends would understand and move to a alternative.
