On the other hand though, Linus isn’t exactly an ‘average user’, having spent most of his life working in the IT industry. I’m not sure it’s completely fair judging him as if he was a random clueless person either.

I love the lore and story, especially Warcraft 3, but a story-driven RTS makes no sense to me. I like both separately, but not mixed together. Probably same thing with Starcraft, but I’ve never tried it.
They do have a word for them. It’s guillotine. Just not a word to call them by.

20·5 days agoJust like with most open source code - I have absolutely no idea what to do with it, but I still love that it’s freely available.
Try the manless section. Solved the issue for me.

Bake half a cake. Call it Full Whole Cake. Mention in the description that the cake is only semi-whole. There you go. You’ve just become a genius innovator.
I can’t think of many more capitalist things than selling something and marketing it as something else entirely.
What if they’re smoking estrogen joints though

Very nice. Can’t wait for them to make a map how to find it next.

22·8 days agoOf course this is a major problem for the pedophile class. For the last 250 years the American Empire was able to function thanks to a countless number of uneducated people locked into perpetual poverty, having children at 14.

after giving up the third largest nuclear arsenal for protection from the US, UK, and Russia.
To be fair, Ukraine never had capabilities to actually utilize that arsenal and bare minimum maintenance was very costly. The deal was beneficial for both sides, even if Russia disregarded a part of it (which still should have never happened).
A lot of Westerners, especially Americans ofc, got very much used to third worlders suffering/dying for their comfort, or sometimes for no reason. Do you remember how much extreme media attention it took for Americans to realize that war in Ukraine was ‘serious’ and not just ‘another war where no civilization exists’? And it’s literally Europe. I have no idea what you’d need to do to get the average American to care about people from ‘rest of world’.

Because ethics don’t exist as far as the ones hoarding bread in this scenario are concerned.
And because you following ethics is directly beneficial for them. As long as you act ‘ethically’, they remain at the top and nothing can be done about it.
