1·4 hours agoThey’ve never been good at naming things, but they now seem to be going out of their way to try to be the worst with the names of their software. For instance, they named the successor to the already generically named “remote desktop protocol” “windows app”.

Well, we don’t do it the way Dr. Kellogg first subscribed it. You’re supposed to do it as a punishment the first time you catch them in the act. It probably only stops them while they heal, but it will stop them.

We’ve learned rather a lot since then.
Eventually someone is going to create an input system that will make the glasses form factor work.
No need to pierce the skull if you’re coming from underneath.

4216·4 days agoAttacking people for liking Harry Potter is the epitome of pointless performative action. It does nothing to help with the root problem.
Thet was likely overzealous religious folk. Because it had magic and witches it was deemed by them to be demonic. I’m quite sure they would be surprised to learn the author of the books they hated was an ally for one of their other beliefs.

Water isn’t like in the video games. It’s still a hard landing that you wouldn’t survive if you were going too fast. There’s just much more margin for error trying to hit the ocean vs. a plot of land.
