Why even have returns at all? Why not just take out the proper amount each pay period and for those who aren’t on payroll just require quarterly payments/refunds? There’s probably a lot of “but…”s but I just can’t imagine that it’s impossible. What century is this?

17·6 days agoI don’t see myself ever owning a home. I’m in Los Angeles making ~$100k per year. I have friends who’ve tried to save and make down payments toward properties for sale but they always fell through.

That’s about the easiest password to brute force though, I don’t think he thought through the plot hardly at all.
1·11 days agoIt’s hosted on Docker on Alpine Linux on a Raspberry Pi 4. It’s actually doing a trillion other things too and it’s not bogged down at all.
If you look at most apps they’re just wrappers around the websites. Usually they’re using the exact same domains for payment processing so I can only imagine that the payment details are 99% the same.
Personally I haven’t experienced an increase in card declinations on websites vs apps.
Apps shouldn’t live in the menubar to start with — why bring this Windows XP habit to macOS in the age of the notch? It makes no sense.
