SHADOW KINGDOM RECORDS is proud to present the devastating follow-up to Horrors of Reality: the highly anticipated second album from Louisiana's VOID, Forbidden Morals, available on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats.

While many bands have adopted the name VOID, none have emerged from the haunted swamplands of Lafayette, Louisiana - nor have any summoned such raw power, atmosphere, and dark imagination. Since forming in 2021, VOID have carved their path through the underground, first with a string of digital singles, and then with the jaw-dropping self-released debut Horrors of Reality in 2023. That debut was enough to catch the attention of SHADOW KINGDOM, who reissued the record and followed up with the chilling 7", Return of the Phantom.

Now, VOID rises once again with Forbidden Morals, a triumphant second full-length that not only expands their sonic reach but plunges listeners deeper into the gothic, castle-bound nightmare world they inhabit. This album is steeped in a vampiric, medieval atmosphere - echoes of candle-lit corridors, blood-soaked rituals, and iron gates creaking under moonlight—all delivered through a whirlwind of sharp, technical thrash metal. The production is rich and immersive, clear yet crushing, with soaring solos and punishing riffs weaving through each track like a dagger in the dark.

Fans of Return of the Phantom will find the song hauntingly reprised here, anchoring an album that leans even further into epic storytelling and eerie theatrics. With 10 songs across 46 minutes, Forbidden Morals amplifies the touchstones of VOID’s sound - think early Metallica, Mercyful Fate, Annihilator, and cult heroes like Toxik, Realm, and Powermad - yet the band pushes further into their own realm. The musicianship is staggering, the songwriting more daring, and the entire experience feels like a cursed tome opened in some ancient stone chamber.

VOID are no longer the influenced - they're fast becoming the influencers. Forbidden Morals is a blazing torch lit inside a long-forgotten fortress, illuminating the shadowy corridors of metal's past with newfound fire.
