Much like the AI slop that we all now have to wade through, "Abomination" takes a bunch of previous sounds/styles from the Osees' backcatalog, and feeds it through a blender.
Focusing on the kraut-punk fusion that made "Protean Threat" so great, but adding its own synth and jam spin on it, this is another fine addition to their discography.
Also, how in the fuck John can still scream like he does on 'Ashes 1' is beyond me. A lifetime of confronting the system keeps you lean and mean I suppose. Xtra Happy
