This was my first exposure to Coil in ‘95. I’m really glad to finally have the EP on vinyl with the accompanying pHILM #1 EP as well as the artwork in a better format to appreciate it (i am extremely happy with the boxset) However, for me the posthumous releases have greatly diminished the caliber of their discography. Unreleased source material, first takes & discarded tracks ruin the strict editorial principles that made their albums so unique & refined. Thumbs down. Disappointing.
