about
Night of August 1st, at 01:08 the radio telescope of Special Astrophysical Observatory of Russian Academy of Science, RATAN-600, while monitoring radio emissions from object 3I/ATLAS, had recorded a signal sequence close to periodic. After several attempts of decoding, the specialists of the centre came forth with the following set of numbers:
21 00 03 08 25 47 20 12
Recordings of similar signals, made in 2021, have been discovered in the database of Research Centre for Extraterrestrial Anomalies in Bordeaux, France. According to most plausible version, the numbers indicate time [21:00 03.08.25] and place [47 is an atomic number of the chemical element silver] for a forthcoming transmission from the entity persistently referring to itself as "Soisong" [often spelled as "2012"]. The more likely outlet for the broadcast is radio station Silver Rain FM 100.1 Moscow, Russia, with the live internet streaming found at:
On behalf of the international scientific community, we call for all concerned inhabitants of the planet to participate in the investigation of this broadcast of presumably extraterrestrial origin.

This was my first exposure to Coil in ‘95. I’m really glad to finally have the EP on vinyl with the accompanying pHILM #1 EP as well as the artwork in a better format to appreciate it
(i am extremely happy with the boxset)
However, for me the posthumous releases have greatly diminished the caliber of their discography. Unreleased source material, first takes & discarded tracks ruin the strict editorial principles that made their albums so unique & refined. Thumbs down. Disappointing. duneul
