Unfortunately with the US EV incentives gone the Slate is way overpriced for what it is. 150 mile range and manual crank windows and no radio or speakers at all on the base model for $28K. I can understand wanting a low tech vehicle but I think they might have gone a step too far.
My most recent run in with these fuckers involved one building a nest in the BED OF MY TRUCK and then stinging me after I drove to work and got out. Bastards. I respect most insects but wasps get the death spray without question.

Real talk, at least in my area CFA’s service is still head and shoulders above any other fast food restaurant. I will often choose them over other locations because I know I won’t be waiting around for 10-15mins for my order.

I do not understand this but maybe it’s because I’m a guy and keep my keys in my front pocket. I keep literally the BARE MINIMUM of things on my key chain. So far as I even have separate keychains for separate vehicles instead of having one key chain for all of them. My SO on the other had has 2lbs of trinkets on her keychain.
I “finished” BotW and then spent probably another 150-200 hours on it after. It didn’t feel like it was really done until I found all of the shrines and armor sets. I never finished TotK because the sky was annoying to navigate and the underneath area was very samey. Also I found the new mechanics to be a little too immersion breaking. Not that BotW was the most immersive game ever. I was really disappointed with TotK.

The people saying “just pay for premium” don’t seem to understand that in the beginning YouTube was free and had no ads. When google purchased it they promised to keep it that way. Then they slowly started with ads. At first they were pretty unobtrusive banners, then a short skippable preroll then multiple preroll then unskippable preroll. The reason I refuse to pay for premium is because Google created this issue and is now selling the solution. I refuse to be a part of that. It has nothing to do with the creators.

Unfortunately manufacturers are starting to get wise to this as well. I recently bought a new Vizio smart TV with no intentions of connecting it to the internet and during the initial setup it kept very persistently insisting that it needed to be connected and after setup it constantly bitches at me that it’s not connected.
That’s sick! I ran a precision workstation 390 all the way up until 2016 before I finally decided to build myself a PC after years of building them for friends.
Don’t get me wrong, I really love the idea as well and really hope for Slate to succeed and make the v2 even better. All previous EV pickups were targeting the full-size truck crowd, but I think a compact EV truck makes wayyy more sense!
