MMC is a commander-style media player for Windows, with native, hw accelerated video playing and translucent gui. Mpxplay is a console audio player for DOS and Win32 operating systems. x264vfw, x265vfw and xAV1vfw are video for windows encoder and decoder codecs, useful with VirtualDub.

Abstracts the hassle of HW accelerated decoding in Intel's 2nd generation Core i3/i5/i7/Pentium/Celeron (SandyBridge) or newer Intel CPU/GPU using the Intel QuickSync technology. Started as an internal decoder within FFDShow. Can be easily ported to other DirectShow decoders. The Intel QuickSync decoder is now used within FFDShow, LAV video decoder and PotPlayer.

Zoe Lossless Codec is a video compression/decompression module to be used in AVI files under the Video for Windows (VfW) framework. The encoded data will typically be stored inside AVI files. The current version allows lossless compression of grayscale video data in the "Y8 ", "Y10 " or "Y12 " formats, as well as RGB24, RGB32 and UYVY. RGB formats are encoded per-channel without any color space conversion. "Y10 " is a new FOURCC code representing 10 bits of grayscale data stored in the LSB of 16 bit words. ces265 is a "High Efficiency Video Coding" (HEVC) software written in C++ with multi-threading support. DEFINITELY LOSSLESS provides a solution to reliably transmit video data from one location to another. Context: Up until now, standardisation organisation such as the Video Quality Experts Group (VQEG) or the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) have used only uncompressed video formats. The H.264 standard and its implementation in FFMPEG allows for lossless transmission of video data at a smaller file size. Purpose: DEFINITELY LOSSLESS simplifies the manipulation of YUV422 video data embedded in AVI files with UYVY422 Four-CC code. It also checks for truncation and correct reconstruction of the uncompressed video at the receiving side. Disclaimer: Please note, that this project is for experts in video processing. If you are not familiar with the above mentioned video formats, this project is probably of no use for you.
