The open-source, Haskell-built video editor for GIF makers. Gifcurry is the open-source video editor for GIF makers. It's built with Haskell and works on Linux, Mac, and most likely Windows. There is both a graphical and command line interface. Gifcurry edits your GIFs or videos and turns them into videos or GIFs. You can crop, trim, seek, add text, pick a font, alter the duration, change the size, set the FPS, tweak the color count, enable dithering, import subtitles, and save your creation as either a GIF or video. Before you download Gifcurry, make sure your machine has GTK+, GStreamer, FFmpeg, and ImageMagick. Linux users can download the AppImage or the prebuilt binaries. If you'd rather install it, you can do so via pacman (Arch) or snap. If you're really courageous, you can build it from source.

Reanimate is a Haskell-based animation library for programmatically creating high-quality vector animations. It provides declarative functionality for composing SVG-based animations and integrates with tools like LaTeX, FFmpeg, Inkscape, Blender, and more to deliver rich, animated content for educational and mathematical visualizations. Reanimate aims at being a batteries-included way of gluing together different technologies: SVG as a universal image format, LaTeX for typesetting, ffmpeg for video encoding, inkscape/imagemagick for rasterization, potrace for vectorization, blender/povray for 3D graphics, and Haskell for scripting. Reanimate is a library for programmatically generating animations with a twist towards mathematics / 2D vector drawings. A lot of inspiration was drawn from 3b1b's manim library.

Alga is a library for algebraic construction and manipulation of graphs in Haskell. See this Haskell Symposium paper and the corresponding talk for the motivation behind the library, the underlying theory and implementation details. We can give semantics to the constructors in terms of the pair (V, E) of graph vertices and edges. Alga can handle graphs comprising millions of vertices and billions of edges in a matter of seconds, which is fast enough for many applications. We believe there is a lot of potential for improving the performance of the library, and this is one of our top priorities. If you come across a performance issue when using the library, please let us know.

A portable library for manipulating data disks created with the Roland SP-808 Groove Sampler / E-Mix Studio. A command-based shell ("vs2") to provide a user interface on libvs2. Possibly a graphics interface ("gvs2") as well.

Simula is a virtual reality (VR) window manager and desktop environment for Linux, built atop the Godot engine. It provides a VR-based Linux desktop experience, enabling productive workflows in AR/VR with immersive window management. A common objection to the viability of VR Desktop is that it exhibits poor text quality; however, with our low pass filter, Simula has taken special care to make text quality as clear as possible. The left image is a VR terminal without our filter applied; the right is the same image with our filter applied. Compared to other VR Desktops, Simula allows for longer sessions without uncomfortable eye strain. In Simula, VR Windows become “active” once you look at them. Active windows receive (i) typing events from the keyboard and (ii) cursor events from any mouse movement.

hscratch is a simple command-line tool to produce scratch sounds from a given phonogramme offline coded in Haskell. Currently, it lacks all that command-line sugar like '-v' and '-h'. Working prototype, still to be developed and improved.
