I’ve been seeing these posted on Lemmy lately. They’re Hungarian from 1957 to 1970. They’re using the language of no language to tell charming 3 panel stories.
Ok I was going to say I don’t get it but I think I figured it out. So she does not want him to see her in her coat and such so that he does not know she is leaving?
Either leaving or is late to work. That’s at least what I got out of it.
Oh you know I think being late makes more sense. Looks like its 15 after maybe something like 8 which would not be an unusual start time.
Would love to see one of these posted every day or week.
Be the change!
(seriously, everyone would love it if you did that)Would you like to know more?
I might have helped get these rolling when I published 16 of them at once, a couple months back. They got a big, positive reaction here, and a huge reaction on Imgur.
I have a folder of more to post, just haven’t gotten around to it yet.
The one you posted here is certainly one of my favorites. :D
LOL, that one where she gets the guy to burn himself on his litter.
I do love these. I appreciate the reminder that although time changes, the fundamentals of our human experience often stays very much the same.

whatever you do, don’t look up inscriptions on ancient greek pet cemetery gravestones
Ruh-roh!
Dare I ask…?
unless you want to cry, don’t do it.
however, there is nothing new under the sunCrying is pretty-much my life, so that’s okay.
(love your username!)
thanks.

“I am in tears, while carrying you to your last resting place as much as I rejoiced when bringing you home in my own hands fifteen years ago.”
Some things just transcend time and cultures lmao.
