I do get that. Less things in the car means less things that can break which yea, I’m all for to a point. I just can’t take heat, I need the ac man.
And I would love to have an electric car if I drove less than 100 miles a day, if chargers were more common, if all chargers used the same common charger port and connector, and if I had a house go charge if at. Also if swaping batteries wasnt a nightmare. That should be the easiest thing to do on an electric car aside from maintaining motors or swapping other common components.

I want a car that doesnt guzzle gas, blows hot and cold and is relatively easy to maintain.
Every other “luxury” feature like touch screens, heated seats, backup cams, I don’t necessarily need. I do like having a backup camera though. My 2015 Toyota Camry does everything I need it to, aside from the stupid touchscreen and the obnoxious way it plays whatever was last playing when my phone connects. Thankfully it still has physical buttons and dials for things.

It has helped at least a little for me. It depends though.
I got lots of annoying calls about selling land because they mixed my information with someone else’s I guess. After i signed up, I got less calls like that.
IMO the best thing you can do is be very selective with what info you give out. Use a privacy focused browser, use ublock and privacybadger as well.
Also switching from Verizon to T-Mobile helped with spam. I get way less spam on tmobile at least it feels that way. This is all anecdotal so take it with a grain of salt.

Depends on the supplier. Cost of lumber did go up pretty dramatically after covid so expect it to be more expensive but that does sound overpriced.
I’d call around and see if you can find a better deal.

Fr. Can’t just drop a post like this and not share.
I like my flint 2 router from GL.Inet. Uses openwrt on the back end but has a more normal interface in the frontend with the back end still accessible if you want it.
And you can install whatever firmware you want.
Haha hes a very happy kitty. He loves being touched in almost every way.

First of all, that sounds harsh coming from a friend. Its OK to be critical, but insulting an idea like that is pretty rude and not constructive at least from what you’ve put here. You should reevaluate your friendship with this friend if that is an accurate portrayal of how they said this.
Second, your story sounds like a normal super hero story which isnt a bad thing. Theres this weird idea that you need to come up with super original concepts to be successful in art but that’s not really true. If you do something that someone’s done before, but different enough, and do it well, people will probably like it.
So yea, write your story man, not because you think people will or won’t read it, but because you want to do it.

I appreciate the transparency that you used AI.
I’m not opposed to those who use it, especially in projects where its used as a tool and not a replacement for human beings.

Man I fucking love the wiki bear skit. So good.
“Imagine trying to breath but instead of air, your lungs feel with sweet molasses, yum yum!”

That gave me a good laugh. Gnome doesnt feel right to me at all man. To each his own.
But yea, sicko fr

I fucking love that little goblin in the corner. What a masterpiece

According to an LTT video that broke down thier revenue about 11 months ago, 45% of your premium sub is divided among creators that you watch.
Not sure how thats calculated, but it seems to be a pretty sizable chunk according to LTT.

Nothing wrong with that. I pay for YouTube premium. Tbh I got fed up with all the hoops on mobile so I just started paying for it and honestly, its been a good fit for me.
I watch a ton of YouTube content so paying for it to support creators and not having ads is fine with me.
Guides helped a lot for me. Also just watching people who routinely did good in ascension 20 was beneficial.
Some general advice that helped me quite a bit was:
Take on as many elite enemy’s as possible without dying. They make you stronger from the relics they give as well as the card rewards and potion drops.
Remove strikes and defends from your deck while adding new cards. You want to keep a smaller deck typically, but having draw cards is also great to help you get through your deck more quickly.
Upgrade cards as much as you can. Upgraded cards help you scale for fights.
Look at the map before doing anything on each act. You can plan a route and see what is the best path based on your character or what you start with.
All that said, each run is different but the more you play, the more informed you are so you can make better choices each run based on what you know.
I may give balatro another go at some point, but just didn’t give me the same feeling that slay the spire did.
They also added a mechanic to fix broken weapons with the rock octorock but they didn’t really make it obvious and its still weird they didn’t let you repair weapons any other way.
Oh man if I ever have kids, this is absolutely gonna be me.
I personally don’t consider my skills quite good enough to be compensated for if I’m honest. And I like helping people here on Lemmy, especially for a opensource project. I can’t contribute as much but I do what I can.
So yea shoot me a DM and we can see what works.
