I wouldn’t say all of that 30% thought that. There is a lot of purposeful and tactical decisions made by the GOP to prevent democratic votes. States where mail in and early voting are not allowed is an example, another is the polling places that do not allow you to give water to the people waiting in line. Then theres the ad campaigns that targeted black people saying of they voted they were going to be jailed by the IRS for some vague tax fraud reason. Some people are terrorized out of being able to vote.
Thats not to discount that there are definitely stupid privileged fucks who simply chose not to vote and let Trump happen.
I believe the drivers for pmos are all written from scratch, at least for the iOS devices. I’m sure some things could be borrowed from Lineage device trees. Their Wiki says that most of their supported iOS devices dont have anything past basic screen support, so I would guess that the shared base is only marginally helpful, unless alpine is no longer a part of iPhones (iPhone 6 is the oldest on the supported list I think?)

I’m going to say Alpine/postmarketos. The reason I say both is pmos uses Alpine as a base, but a lot of the code is built from the ground up as its a linux distro designed to run on mostly ARM devices (old phones and tablets. Even some old iOS devices!)

Which is why I have since uninstalled deltachat. I am not going to trust my privacy and security to be kept intact when the code is written by AI. Theres no guarantees the AI won’t fuck up and make a massive security breach.
