Wtf is Texas tea?
Transcription:
3 panels. 1: the Stephen Crowder “change my mind” meme: Age of Empires is shit, change my mind. 2: a red monk from Aoe says “Wololo”. 3: the Stephen Crowder meme edited to show him wearing red and the sign saying “I love Age of Empires ❤️❤️❤️❤️”
The Wololo tournament just took place this past weekend, culminating in the grand final at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Some absolutely fantastic gameplay in both aoe2 and aoe4.

Oof. Lumo wrong too, in a different way. There’s no federal electorate of Aspley. The suburb of Aspley is in Lilley and Petrie.
The “critique” is a non-issue pushed mainly by uppity Europeans
fwiw I’ve seen it most often from Latin Americans.

The first woman (Christina Koch), non-white person (Victor Glover), and non-American (Jeremy Hansen) in deep space. And Reid Wiseman.
I worry about this sometimes. I don’t ever want to be seen as speaking “for” minorities I’m not a member of, but I do want to be seen speaking “up for” them. And I worry about finding the right balance. I don’t want to speak over them, but do want to help make it clear that I support them and I am opposed to those who are opposed to them. I don’t want to be MLK’s “white moderate”.

Relatively slow, considering I got it entirely with the acrosses. Never saw the downs.

I only worked it out after reading the post-game notes from the puzzle creator.
The word was, IIRC, “ending”. They realised that both “never” and “nerve” worked, and that they are anagrams of each other. So they added the weird instruction to “anagram this” and put in “eenrv”. The idea being that you’re supposed to work out that the puzzle meant “never” in that spot, or it meant “nerve”. Either one you figure out should make the puzzle doable.
But that relies on you understanding what they meant by “anagram this”. Which I didn’t, and it seems like a lot of people didn’t.

Higher speeds increase fuel consumption
I believe most cars are at their most efficient at city cruising speeds of 50–70 km/h. Because there’s a trade-off between air resistance and the efficiency of the engine & gearing.

Oh interesting. I got an answer on another site that said

Texas tea is a cocktail. A Long Island Iced Tea with an added shot of whiskey.
Some very brief further research tells me it could be both/either.
